Short and long term lease available!
Carlos was a really awesome host! He made us feel super welcome and was really helpful! The apartment was the perfect spot for me to chill out whilst having some dental work done in San Jose before we got to the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. Carlos made sure we knew where the buses were and had his number in case we needed anything, it's also close to the University of Costa Rica where there are some nice cafés and bars, generally a nice area of town.
Overall we had a great experience staying at carlos's place an we would definitely recommend it.
The apartment and Carlos was great! The apartment had everything we needed and more. Clean, quiet and as described. It's centrally located and safe to walk around. Thanks again for taking us out on the town and helping us with all we needed.
Very nice apartment! It is located in a good area, close to the bus stop and local restaurants. Carlos was a great host. He helped us with everything we needed.
Excelente experiencia.
L'appartamento é carino, pulito e ordinato. Il posto é molto vicino ad un intersezione principale, ma non é per niente rumoroso.
Everything about our experience with Carlos was great. We contacted him upon arrival and were given directions via waze app so we could easily navigate our car there. There is no private parking but street parking was plentiful and safe. Him and his family were extremely welcoming even offering us a bigger futon for us to use in the living room. We were in San Jose for lasik surgery and it was a quiet place to recover. There is a big walmart close by and lots of restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment and plan to contact him again in the future.
Carlos is a great host and his place was perfect for exploring downtown San Jose. The apartment is just like you see in the photos, very clean and comfortable. We took the bus downtown and were there in minutes and we enjoyed being near the heart of the city and experiencing what it’s like to live there. Having the Walmart nearby was nice too as we could pick up stuff for making meals at home if we wished. We didn’t have a chance to get Costa Rica SIM cards at the airport but when Carlos found out he called the cell phone company and asked where their nearest location was, then told us how to get there. We also texted him one night to see if there was a can opener in the apartment and he appeared 20 minutes later with one he’d run out and bought.
