We were guests during X-mas time. We liked the appartment very much. Close to the beach which is visible from the balcony. Anglet centre and Biarritz are als close by. We were with 3 (2 adults + 1 child) and had lots of space. The appartment is well equiped. We even could park our car in a garage. Jennie her parents gave us a warm welcome and explained it all very well. Not all the shops and restaurants are open this time a year but we liked it, not too many tourists around. Lots of French and they all wear a jogging outfit on the 1st day of X-mas (great !)
We booked Jennie's apartment for a week in Mid March 2013 for a surfing trip in and around Biarritz. We had two cars there but there was plenty of room for parking. It can sleep up to 6 if needed although there were only 4 of us there. There is a great balcony where you can see the Ocean in from. Anglet as a town is nice, supermarket, loads of Pizza places etc, and a great base to head into the Pyrenees and onto some of the breaks in Northern Spain or Hossegor etc. If you want to walk into Biarritz its self its about 15mins, but Biarritz is not the star attraction of the area in our opinion, San Seb, St Jean de Luz, hendaye, zarautz are the best places to explore. Jennie and her family were great hosts, always on hand if we needed anything (including some on the fly translations) even offered to book us up some places in the area for us which was great. Check out the cideria's in Bayonne and around in Basque, they are awesome. Great place to go, amazing value recommend it to anyone wanting to surf, hike, cycle, run etc...
