About this place

Oyama has a charming atmosphere that is completely different from that of a big city, and it is an area worth visiting. There is also a hot spring nearby, where you can relax and be healed. Ikebukuro is just 5 minutes away, and since it is a large terminal station, it provides easy access to Tokyo's tourist attractions. Fresh ingredients are also readily available, and you can enjoy your stay in Tokyo while enjoying both the natural beauty of Oyama and the convenience of the city.

The space
The area around Oyama Station is a calm town with a Showa-era downtown vibe, and it has a more rural sense of security than an urban environment. There are two shopping streets around the station, including Happy Road Shopping Street. The shopping environment is great, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants, making it convenient for those who like to eat out. You can use the Tobu Tojo Line, and you can reach Ikebukuro in about 6 minutes without any transfers. There is a security camera at the entrance of the building, and the building meets the new seismic standards.

During your stay
Previous guest reviews have mentioned that it is close to the station and very convenient, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The arcade shopping street is particularly attractive and helpful on rainy days. There are also many grocery stores, and it is a quiet, down-to-earth environment despite being close to the city center.

Other things to note
No smoking in the building. Please refrain from smoking on the balcony or at the entrance.

Ooyama o is a very sweet and traditional neighborhood in Tokyo. It is quiet but has many great Japanese restaurants within walking distance. Our apartment is a 1 minute walk for the famous Ooyama street where you can see unusual cooking ingredients and traditional Japanese crafts. There are two nice temples close by one of which is famous for its life enhancing incense.
