"... a paradise for nature lovers, elemental style ... relaxed"
Ojo del Mar ("eye of the sea") is an eclectic, intimate eco friendly retreat nestled between the pristine beaches and tropical rainforest.

The space
Ojo del Mar's BEACH HOUSE is an airy, elevated two story cabina privately set among beautiful tropical gardens.
It has a king size bed upstairs and either a king size bed or two single beds downstairs.
There are two couch areas, a sitting area and private bathroom.
The beach House has orthopedic beds, all come with mosquito netting (even bugs are minimal here in paradise), cotton sheets and plenty of pillows, towels, biodegradable soaps, candles, flowers, etc..
The cabina has its own mosaic-floored outdoor garden shower and sink and a private bathroom.

A fabulous breakfast is included in the price of your stay, and dinner is available at our restaurant in the “Casa Grande" as well.

Ojo del Mar has capacious spaces in its main "Casa Grande" (restaurant) with hardwood floors and a thatched roof bamboo construction, solar powered, all built by hand without power tools. Ojo del Mar's building concept follows a calling that is environmentally and socially responsible.
We also have great places to relax on the beach, such as our hammocks, ocean-tree platform and Yoga Lounge.

As National Geographic says, the Osa is the "Last Great Peninsula," still untouched by the ravages of civilization, with over 350 species of birds, 115 species of reptiles, 750 species of trees and 10,000 species of insects...along with the 100,000 acre fantastic Corcovado National Park. This is a gorgeous and remote spot.
Waking up to the morning sound of howler monkeys, the squawking of macaws and the orchestral singing of birds and insects against the background rhythm of the ocean, this is a place to reconnect to the essential.

Ojo Del Mar lodge featuring yoga, wellness & whole foods, ecotourism and a retreat center in the Osa Peninsula Costa Rica.
