I am friendly and down to earth, usually up for conversation unless I am trying to get some school work done or off to class/ work.

  • Erik was a great host and I feel fortunate that we came across his listing. He was communicative and very helpful in offering to help us find his apartment. Upon arrival, we found his place to be super clean and exactly as advertised. Fresh towels and clean sheets were provided.

After explaining a few details about his place, he was really good at just letting us be. So we felt as if we were staying at a private hotel. I would recommend him to anyone.

  • This was my first experience with AirBnB, so it took me a while to decide which place I should pick ~ at the end I am SO glad I chose Erik's place.
Erik was very accommodating, he was flexible and allow us to drop off our luggage earlier than planned. Thanks Erik! He made us feel very welcome the minute we walked in his apartment. He was also very helpful and gave us many great tips as where to go and have a great time in NYC.

As for the Apartment, it was exactly as seen on pics. It was nicely decorated, spacious and CLEAN. The queen size bed was VERY comfortable, the room was cozy, well heated - and ample wardrobe space. The location was GREAT- many nice restaurants, pubs and convenience stores - which I find very convenient :) I feel very safe walking in the neighborhood. The apartment is also a walking distance to the subway as well to the Central park and the Metropolitan Museum. On the weekends (Fri/Sat), as Erik mentioned in his description, there will be loud music coming from the bar below, but because my friend and I came home late and were too tired from exploring New York (kinda like the music too), it didn't bother us that much.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay and had the best weekend ever in NYC. I will highly recommend Erik's place to anybody who wants to have a great New York experience. Best of all, Erik was the host with the mostest - once again, THANKS Erik for EVERYTHING!

  • We had a great time at Erik's apartment. The room was really big and comfortable, and the big TV is a nice touch. The area is really nice and safe, and Erik was very helpful with everything. It did get a bit noisy at night on friday/saturday, even though it seemed like the quieter room in the apartment. We were able to sleep through it but you should bring earplugs if that sort of thing bothers you. We enjoyed the place!

  • The reservation was canceled 38 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Erik's place is well located, not far from Central Park and the subway to go downtown.
The room and the bed are comfortable and the kitchen allows to cook, otherwise, there's a lot of restaurants around.
Erik is helpful, he gave us advice to visit NYC.
The area, Yorkville, is quiet and safe, except in the week ends with a loud music in bars. But it stops early and Erik told us about that.
We defenately could come back at Erik's if we visit NYC again.

  • We stayed with Erik for 5 Days and ist was great. The apartment is close to the Central Park in a Safe neighbourhood and it is very easy getting to downtown. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet . Erik was a great host. He was very friendly and grave us helpful tips. We definitely would stay at his apartment again.

  • We had a great stay at Erik's place.
Helpful and welcoming, he was flexible on the schedules, so that we could enter the room earlier than the regular time and we also left few hours later. That was very helpful.
The flat is also nicely located, few minutes walking from some subway and bus station, as well as from the river, where that was great having our last breakfast on a sunny day before leaving NY.
The room is amongst the largest one we have ever had with Airbnb. The bed mattress is good quality and we slept beautifully.
    We recommend the place.
