We stayed at Catie's apartment for a few days and liked it a lot. Catie was very responsive to our questions and requests and she made sure that the apartment was in great shape when we checked in. We are not tourist just New Yorkers needing temporary housing but I can see that the location is good for tourists who want to visit the Wall St/Freedom Tower/Statue of Liberty area. Also, the apartment is child-friendly equipped with highchair/toddler bed. We highly recommend this apartment to others who wants to experience NYC.
We totally loved the apartment, it's amazing location and warms and welcoming of our host Catie. Location is superb - quick 3 minute walk to subway lines 5 and R, quick 5 minute walk to half-price show ticket booth, minutes away from NYSE, WTC, Battery Park . Apartment has 3 (three!) rooms, in a very quiet spot, with no noise, still in great location, has very modern kitchen and spacious bathroom, WiFi, good heat, nice hardwood floors, good quality queen size bed, we loved it and would rent it again!
Our stay was exactly what we needed, a place back in our old stumping grounds of BPC near all our favorite restaurants, friends and hang outs.
Catie made it incredibly easy for us to check-in and out, which was ideal since we were only in town a few days for me to run the marathon.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice clean and open apartment, that is close to everything we love about Manhattan - i.e. BPC, TriBeCa and SoHo.
Myself, my husband and our 1 year old visited Catie's apartment in October. Catie is the perfect host - she was great with communication and answered all my questions very quickly. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Catie even left a high chair and pack n play for our daughter to use, which was fantastic. If you're looking for a fantastic view, this location cannot be beat. I'm a former NYC resident and had not spent much time in Battery Park City, so it was nice to explore a different neighborhood. It is beautiful and we really enjoyed walking along the river. The sunset on the water was just gorgeous. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and the 9/11 Memorial is very close. It is a little far from most of the things we wanted to do, but I knew that up front. Traveling with a baby who goes to bed at 7:00 pm, we knew we'd be spending a lot of time in the apartment. It was nice to have a lot of takeout options for dinner along with TV and internet access. I just wish the TV had more channels. I assume most people who visit will not be watching as much TV as we did though. Overall, we had a really nice time and are so glad we rented an apartment instead of going to a hotel! Thanks again, Catie!
Catie's place is our best experience via Airbnb ! The spot was amazing, the appartment big enough, very clean, spacious, very bright, and the view was breathtaking !

About the Host, Catie
My husband and I work in NYC (he is a professor, I am an event planner). We have a house in NH that we spend most of our time at (weekends, holidays, summers). Our NYC place is comfortable with lots of space and an excellent location - we use it really as a place to rest our heads while we are there during the work week.
