This quiet room has 2 windows facing the private court of Palazzo Benzon, the original venetian palladiana (marble pavement) and the particular "hidden" bathroom.

Over the past year I stayed twice in the Palazzetto, and both time I had a great time. In Venice everything is relatively close, however the location still matters a lot, and the Palazzetto is very nicely situated right on Grand Canal, in a quite spot next to Academia bridge, but really close (~10min) to San Marco. There is a nice square right next to the Palazzetto, with several nice places to eat, notably abecaffico.
The Palazzetto itself is old, built sometime in the 16th century, and as such it cannot offer the same amenities as in the modern hotels, but what it can offer is to immerse you in the authentic Venetian atmosphere, which is much nicer than anything else. It offers all the luxury one might expect from a place built 400 years ago, and even though I read some comments about the small size of the bathrooms or the tilted floors, I would have expected that given the age of the building. The rooms that I took over my trips were all very comfortable, the beds were big and offered a nice sleep at night, and the bathrooms were of a very decent size. The breakfast cooked by the staff is excellent and one should definitely hang out in the Palazzeto in the late afternoon and have a cup of espresso while looking at Grand Canal.
It may be a bit confusing to find it on foot, but if you use a water taxi it will leave you right at the doorsteps. If one still prefers to get there on foot it is best to print out a map and follow the directions. The staff at the Palazzetto is really friendly and helpful and will provide directions and arrangements per your request.
In conclusion, I will highly recommend Palazzetto Pisani and Casa Uscoli (the place adjacent to the main Palazzetto and managed by the same staff) to anyone visiting Venice, it is a beautiful and comfortable place packed with history and managed by very nice people
Phenomenal location . Staff made Palazzo feel homey
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Venice in May 2013. Our well appointed room was located in the Casa de Uscoli next to the Palazzetto Pisani Boutique Palace which is also highly recommended. Like the Palazzetto Pisani, the Casa de Uscoli is in a great location in central Venice a very short walk from a Vaporetto station (Public bus system). The breakfast room opened up onto the Gran Canal and during the evening after a day of touring on foot, was the perfect place to recharge with a glass of Prosecco.
Great location, easy to get to the all the major sites, but just far enough to avoid the noise of heavy crowds. I must point out that being such a small city, it's actually pretty easy to get anywhere anyway, but still, I found its location particularly ideal. So choose this place to stay if you want to feel like you're in a true Venetian residence and also if you want great service and advice from the staff. Chiara was particularly helpful, always willing to provide advice and assist in any way possible. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Exceptionnal place, thanks to the Doge Pisani family whishing a direct acces to the great canal this Pallezetto is a unique piece of architecture. The rooms are all different, the best for my taste is "Pisani" at the level of the canal.
Staff friendly.location cannot be better.
