Monthly rental or short term rental! Utilities included.
The space is clean and comfortable, and newly updated. It is a typical New Orleans shotgun apartment, with three walk-through rooms, 1 bathroom, and kitchen at the back. I've listed it as a 2-bedroom, but could be 1. It's a double, and I live next door with my little Corgi mix, Dinah.
The apartment is located on lovely Esplanade Ridge, one block from Esplanade Avenue and bus stops. From Esplanade, it's a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride down to the French Quarter and Marigny, or up to City Park. 10-15 minute walk to Jazz Fest!
The apartment comes furnished with a queen sized bed, queen sized sleeper sofa, and room for another air mattress if needed for guests. Kitchen is fully furnished as well.

We had an excellent stay at Janna's apartment. It's a large place with a living room, bedroom, extra room, bathroom, and kitchen. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The location is fantastic. It's in a quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes from the French Quarter by car. There's a bus stop at the corner of Esplanade and N. Miro, and it's easy to hail a cab there as well. Janna was a helpful and welcoming host. All in all, I highly recommend this apartment.
Janna's house was fantastic! It is much bigger than the photos make it look, and gives you a perfect taste of shotgun living. The location is very central, and we had no problem biking to City Park or the French Quarter.
Janna is the best! You should definitely stay here.
We had an excellent time in New Orleans. We loved the location. It was quiet and safe. The location was perfect for us. Just a short drive to the French Quarter and short drives to various grocery stores. The house fit our needs. Plenty of room.
Janna was a great host and helpful to us first timers to the area.
The shotgun apartment was very nice - hardwood floors, clean, short driving distance to many sights. Janna was very kind, accommodating and on top of things. Highly recommended!
Choosing this beautiful house above the others listed was one of the best choices I ever made! First of all miss Janna is wonderful, and super accommodating. She was helpful with anything I needed to know whether about the city of New Orleans, or where I could buy local groceries. As soon as I arrived I felt at home, its just a good feeling. The location is incredible not only is it near everything (the French quarter and city park are equal distances away) but the neighborhood itself is a historic wonder. I highly recommend staying here! The house is very spacious, bright and airy... Not to mention immensely clean. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won't be sorry!
Janna is amazing, helpful and easy to communicate with which made everything really smooth.
Nestled midway between City Park & Quarter this shotgun provides a great starting point into the heart of New Orleans. Easy access to Esplanada Ave, parking, little front porch, nice back yard, very nice interior, high ceilings, big windows, 5 star recommendations. Can’t go wrong here.
Great, safe place to stay. Close 10 minute walk to the quarter, Janna is a very friendly and courteous neighbor/landlord. Place is wonderful inside and is furnished with most of your basic neccesities. Was really impressed with the whole place.
I can't say enough about Janna, her corgi mix and her house near Esplanade and N. Miro. It was my first visit to New Orleans and my first Super Bowl (Go Ravens). Janna went out of her way to make sure our stay was a great experience. I would often send her a text message for advice about the site, bars and restaurants. Within minutes she would get back to me giving me the inside scoop.
A clean house, clean sheets and clean towels. What else could you ask for? The house it's self is a cool little shotgun style that I'd guess is over 100 years old. It has some quirks but it adds to the charm. My friends and I are already planning to stay here next year for Jazz Fest.
One bit of advice: Either bring a bike or rent one to get around. It’s a super bike friendly town and a great way to get around and see the city.
Thanks again Janna for showing my friends and I a great time and some of that southern hospitality that the Big Easy is known for.
