Great cottage for a family get together near the lakes. The kitchen was pleasantly stocked with appropriate cooking equipment, and a large dining table. And the cottage was in a perfect location for the lake and town centre.

This is our second time at Castlerigg Manor Lodge, and we've enjoyed it just as much as before. The weather holding out was a welcome bonus this time, allowing us to explore more of beautiful Keswick & surrounding areas. The lodge is ideally placed a short walk from the town centre, although it is up a hill that can be challenging for some, you can catch a cab from the centre which costs no more than £2.50 (money well spent after a good meal and a few beers!) The lodge itself is clean, tidy, and comfy. Perfect for the family. It's location within the Castlerigg manor grounds provides an excellent setting for a leisurely stroll in the peace & quiet. Overall, Castlerigg Manor Lodge is a gem of a find on Air B&B, reasonably priced, ideally located, comfy, clean, & cosy. I'd highly recommend booking (and will be booking again for future family breaks!)

Castlerigg Manor Lodge is a great place for a family to stay. The facilities are amazing and it is a 10-15 min walk into the centre of Keswick. The cottage is clean and a welcome pint of milk and biscuits made us feel welcome. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Absolutely loved Gillian's cottage in Keswick. This is a beautiful home in an excellent location. The cottage is easy walking distance to town but at the same time surrounded by greenery. My only complaint is that I did not have more time to stay and enjoy the cottage and the town of Keswick.

Loved staying here and would book again. We had three couples, one single adult, two babies and there was space to spare. The lodge was outdated but immaculate. Keswick is stunning, fantastic walking trails very close to the lodge. The wifi was a little slow but that's not important. Close walk to town which was a bonus, walked for groceries/shops/pubs.
