Exceptional value for money Riad in a vibrant and fast paced location. The guides were really helpful but expect to pay for this service either in commissions or tips. The location is very close to the hustle and bustle of city life which is great but it's a little intimidating sometimes returning home in the dark.

Shukran! Christel was easy to communicate with and super hospitable. The Riad was amazing, like your own little secret garden in the bustling streets of the Medina. Also Rachid and Amina are so helpful. Rachid will ask basically get you anything you need, just ask.

Such a lovely place to stay to experience the very best of Marrakesh. At first we were concerned that we would never find the riad, so were very happy to be collected by a taxi arranged by Christel. The riad itself is a hidden gem, from the winding streets you would have no idea it's there, but walk through the door and it's beautiful and just as described. Location wise there is a tiny shop about 3 mins walk away and almost all the major sights are easily walkable. We spent most our days as half busy out and about and half relaxing on the rooftop terrace. Cannot reccomend Marrakesh and this riad enough.

The area is very bad specially at night time when everyone just sits outside the house door. The roads to the house it self are very narrow and with all the youths sitting in front of the door smoking drugs make it more differcult to enter the house (every night). The showers don't drain well, the WIFI is very poor we where unable to even make calls using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). The Airco was working in only one room. All the kids from the neighborhood will stick to you and beg you for money we even had one boy who rang the bell early in the morning wanted to sell us something. The cost of driver that Christel offered us from airport to the home was 40 euros even tho it's only 10/15 euros. Apart from that the cleaners where very helpful and nice people the house looked good from the inside.

Response from Christel:
Dear Ali, In spite of the 12 days you stay in the riad and enjoyed it, it's very bad and disappointed to read such a wrong statement. Everything was working during your stay and all my other guests never complain about that,so... AC, wifi are good and the medina is very safe and the area is a typical and quiet street with Moroccan family living. Obviously, kids are playing in the street it's their way of life, especially in the old town. You threatened me to get some discount on services and it's a very bad behavior and I hope future hosts will read this comment and be very careful with you before accept any booking from you. Best regards, Christel

Living in a riad is an experience not for everybody, you need adventurer spirit and understanding that you will be in the middle of a labyrinth. If you are that adventurous this is it!
