Il Sogno di Amélie is a bed and breakfast in Rome and it is made of 3 rooms.
Each rooms has got something special that makes it unique.
We mixed new and vintage furnitures, we have sparkling chandeliers, pink and white striped wallpaper, a green wall and a very old piano.
We try to suggest the real treasures of Rome, true sensation, good vibrations.
We love making you tasting the strong and sweet flavors of our beloved Rome, by suggesting places to see and experiences to try.
The area is a living one, full of restaurants and shops.
The most important sights are in a walking distance but if you feel tired, don't worry, the metro stop is 2 minutes away!
GREAT location, GREAT host , in total GREAT stay!
Serena was very helpful and gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and bars. We loved it.
The only thing which just wasn't my (german) style was the breakfast as I love to sit at a proper table with fresh rolls.
Otherwise the best, Thank you so much Serena!
Very well located!! We had all we needed for great breakfast!! Worth the stay!
Super Lage direkt am Vatikan und U-Bahn! Tolle Gastgeberin, wunderschöne Wohnung!!
I had a wonderful 5 night stay with Serena. Thank you! Will be back.
This is a very central located apartment and has everything you need. Serena is very helpful and she has some excellent suggestions for nice and cozy restaurants. Ask her!
Thank you for all your help and a great stay Serena!
The accomadation at Serenas place was really great. The location ist unbeatable and even if you need any information Serena is very helpful. The breakfast and a new cake every day were very special surprises for me.
Many thanks for the enjoyable stay - hope to be back in Rome soon.
Had a wonderful stay in rome, great communication and very helpful.
Serena has a beautiful condo. The place is neatly decorated and feels very comfortable. The only time I actually saw Serena was at check-in, but she was always available and responsive by text messages whenever I had questions. The condo complex feels safe and has secure gates, and feels like a fairly modern place. The location is really convenient, extremely close to Vatican City and in good walking distance from the metro station.
I highly recommend Serena's lovely apartment in Rome, overlooking the Vatican walls! The room I stayed in was easily suitable for 1 or 2 guests - everything included (including a TV in the room); the bed was comfortable; the space was private and quiet; coffee and sweet pie on arrival; and the location is perfect (central but not directly in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Rome city centre, and direct view of the queue for the Vatican museum so you can plan your visit...)
I stayed one night, and Serena's sister kindly waited for me to arrive (my train was late and the poor thing had a tooth ache, so I was very grateful for her attentiveness to guests)
Serena was also kind enough to provide a late checkout the next day so that I had time explore Rome before moving on to my scheduled tour of Italy.
Bathroom facilities were great (especially compared to hotel facilities in Italy...) and the kitchen is fully equipped so if you had a longer stay it would be an added benefit.
Free wifi is included, however I couldn't work out the password... Serena was available at night by phone to try and figure out what I was doing wrong, but I couldn't get it.
A kind and friendly introduction to Rome, I would stay again if I am lucky enough to have the opportunity.
