Very old building which has some charm but not for everyone. I've got plenty of tips for my guests for things to do in Adelaide.
Really keen to have a Fringe group stay in the room in 2014.
Close to Central Markets, 15min walk
Railway station, 10mins walk
Tram, 2mins walk
Large room, high ceilings
No car park but some street parking in area.
It's a character building which is rough around the edges but it is close to many of the city's attractions. Adelaide is a very walkable city so anywhere in the CBD will be convenient. The tram stop is just around the corner and this will take you to the entertainment centre or Glenelg beach.
There is no air conditioning in the place but the high ceilings mean that it stays relatively cool most of the time. Look forward to meeting you.
I am also living at the premise and I am happy to suggest places around town and things to do. I may even be persuaded to go for day trips.
Adelaide can be a little quiet but it has many attractive qualities and you might even grow to love the town by the end of your stay :)
Kitchen, free wi-fi, shower
I'm happy to chat and hang out as little or as much as desired.
Just around the corner is the Ed Castle Hotel, $10 meals every night until 8.30pm. Grace Emily on a Monday night is not to be missed under any circumstances. Closest cafe is Red Fox, not bad.
Tram is just around the corner which will take you to Glenelg beach. Center of city is 10 mins walk. Close to some good pubs.
The carpet is old and I rent the place so this can't be helped. I do vacuum and try to keep the place neat but it is a home, not a hotel.
Good location, very nice and friendly host. I recommend him!
L'appartement est très bien placé, et James est très sympathique, et vous donnera des supers conseils.
Stayed two nights with James. Great place and a quick walk into town. Would stay again.
James and his nephew are great laid back guys! The room is a good size and the guys are cool about people cooking. It's a really convenient location, although be warned that you can sometimes hear late late night partiers carousing in the streets, and this place is pretty run down - which was fine by us, but the more OCD types might be pretty concerned.
All and all, a great place, in a great city, with great people. Oh, and a pretty darn good price as well.
Nice place, idealy located, well protected by an Army of Fans. Host is great : He showed me some very cool places.
Sidenote : don't let you fool by this picture, those bunk beds are huges !
I'm 1.87 m and i fit in the bed without any folding
James was a great host with a good sense of humor! We had a awesome introduction to our first few days in Adelaid. Great place!
James was a really great host and I recommend him.

Was awesome to stay at James's. He's a relaxed host open for a conversation sharing a wine and giving you helpful advise about spending time in Adelaide. Thank you!
Great stay in James's house!
Good location in the main street.
