Good location, modern designed private apartment,
along JR Yamanote line, the most useful train in Tokyo!
9min walk from Takadanobaba station (2stops from Shinjuku),
Many restaurants around the station!

The space

9mins from Takadanobaba station! Walkable from Shinjuku station even if you miss the last train. With a classy designed building, you can enjoy a neo-Tokyo stay.

The house is 8 minutes from Takadanobaba station along Yamanote-line. From Takadanobaba, you can go to Shinjuku by 5 minutes, to Shibuya by 12 minutes!
Even if you miss the last train, you can go back from Shinjuku on foot. (There are so many attractive night spots like bars or restaurants in Shinjuku.)

Takadanobaba is really nice place to live. You can buy any groceries and also has many good restaurants. I usually eat out around there so if you want to know, please ask me!

This one is one of my house but I also managing a monthly apartment for foreign residents. So I'm mostly understanding about troubles or difficulties for foreigners.
Hope you can have a nice stay and want you to know many good points about Japan!

If you are looking for somewhere quiet, neighborly and a 10min walk to the subway where it leads you to any location like Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku... definitely get this place! Really clean, comforting and welcoming beds! Big enough space for three people. It was big enough for two definitely. Location wise was perfect for me, I live in NYC and I sometimes definitely need to get away from the city and wake up to birds singing outside my window. There are schools and families leaving nearby so it was welcoming to see them every morning going to school or work. Yu is also replies really soon if anything!

The place was very much like presented on the ad. Very spacious, specially for the region. Close to the station, you can reach Takadanobaba in 15 to 20min on foot. The neighborhood is quite silent most of the day, except when a newspaper delivery service across the street works at night, but that's occasional and not very loud. There's some cleaning products and helpful stuff for newcomers. Bathroom was okay, the downside being it gets very wet all around after a shower. The kitchen was nice and useful. Yu was VERY helpful and patient, we had to call him 2 times, first one when the electric oven and some lights weren't working. Yu promptly exchanged it for new ones. The second time we lost a copy of the key, it was past midnight, we messaged Yu and got an answer immediately! We then met him at the station where he gave us another copy, and of course we paid for the lost keys, Yu was very comprehensive! So overall it's a very nice place for a VERY nice price, you should not regret it :)

Yu's place was efficient and conveniently located about 9 mins on foot from the Takadanobaba station Toyama exit. I had a little trouble with the map she gave, but used my friends' international data and found it no problem. The apartment is a basic, comfortable modern Japanese flat that's ideal if you're out and about during the day and want a quiet neighborhood to rest. The kitchen sink and shower could use a little cleaning, but not uncomfortable. The wifi is a bit slow. It's very helpful that she has a washing machine and laundry hooks to hang clothes to dry. It's also helpful that she's stocked her kitchen with utensils and appliances, although my friend and I just the fridge to store food. Overall, a pleasant and convenient experience.

The host inform us that our unit is 107 but when we opened the mailbox, there is no key inside. We tried to call and message the host for 1 hour plus but no reply at all, until we manage to call unit 107 which we thought that the person inside the house 107 is the cleaner. But, to our surprise, we just know that they also rented the place which really embarrased us. Only then, the host inform us that our place should be 105 instead of 107. This is really an untorelable mistake made by the host! All of the towels provided are still wet. The bed and pillows are too thin and smelly. It seems like the linens are not changed. There are some dust and hairs left on the floor when we checked in to the place. We cant sleep during the stay as the linens are smelly and too thin. Its like we are sleeping on a board instead of a bed. The location is really far away from the station. Its 1 km and its not 7 mins walk.. even (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map shows as 12 mins walk instead of 7 mins. If you want to book the place, please make sure that the host give the correct direction and the unit number. You might be end up going to a wrong unit as the host might not be reachable.

Response from Yu:
Please don't listen to him. this person just want to write bad things. I'm sorry for making a mistake about the room, but you don't need to find out every tiny bad points to take a revenge or something. what a small heart. I'm asking for a professional cleaning for Airbnb, I'm sure cleanliness is better than average. This kind of person should stay in a good hotel. (of course it's way more expensive though.) This season in Japan is the busiest time since cherry blossoms bloom. every hotels rise up a price, it's totally not expensive. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) shows 9min walk from Takadanobaba station. when I walk, 8min. So I wrote 8min from the station. 12min just you walked slowly.

Easy access to transit and a nice neighbourhood. We had an infant traveling with us and it was very easy to stay here. Thank you!

I've been around center in Tokyo for 10 years. I often go out with my foreign friends so I can tell you nice places which are not in guide books! Also I often go out for dinner or lunch so please ask me if you want nice restaurants!
