Our stay in Myrtle Beach was short but sweet. When we arrived at Fatima's villas we were nothing short of impressed. The place was clean, decorated nicely, and stocked full of towels and everything else needed to make us feel at home for the weekend. The only think I noticed was even though there were clean sheets for the pull out bed, there weren't extra pillows or an extra blanket. The beach was literally right across the street, which was perfect for us, as we were planning on spending most of our time there. We walked to the sky wheel and boardwalk one day, which was about three miles each way. It seems like quite the walk but we liked how quiet it was around the villa so we could get away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely stay at these villas again and refer anyone planning on visiting Myrtle Beach to stay here as well! Thanks again Fatima !!
The place was great!! Would definitely recommend it. The apartment came as described and more. Much, much better than staying in a hotel. The wifi left a bit to be desired but its vacation so it wasn't a big deal anyway. Fatima is fast and responsive and I had a great experience overall.
Fatima left a key, card for the amenities at the resort facilities (across the street) and instructions. We needed a second key and it took some communicating to get one that fit the door well.
February was cold this year. The outdoor pools were closed and the indoor one "isn't handling the cold well" (note on pool door).
Basically, there is not much to do in Myrtle Beach during the cold except malls, movies, and chatting with the snowbirds waiting for the snow to let up back home.
This lack of things to do is reflected in the signs outside virtually every resort on the beach announcing steeply discounted rooms for prices well below the price for this condo. So I would definitely agree with other reviewers who said that the condo was overpriced.
The pictures are accurate, but only a really sharp eye would notice that the sink is a very small bar sink and there is no dishwasher. Not comfortable. There is an oven, but no baking sheet to make cooking a frozen dinner possible. Definitely not enough cooking gear to make more than breakfast eggs & toast. It's definitely an efficiency kitchen. We like to "eat in," so this matters to us.
The pictures of the living room show the tasteful decorating, but again a really sharp eye would be needed to see that there are no flat surfaces within arm's reach of anyone sitting in the living room area. Not comfortable if you want a cup of coffee or other drink while watching tv.
Overall, I think this condo might work for someone who wanted to be on the beach in the warm months, but it is overpriced and not very comfortable in the coldest months.
I have absolutely no control over the size of the condo 750 sq.feet.The contents, appliances and furniture are basic for short getaways. The layout is not fitted enough space luxury of a real home. Small meals can be prepared with the microwave and countertop oven, complete with basic cooking utensils for small easy meals. We have toasters and coffee maker complete with mugs, dishes, wine glasses, pot and pans, knives, complete set of spoon and forks etc. It is quite impossible to keep things like baseboards to be spotless when there is constant traffic of guests coming and going. We make sure everything else that matters is sanitized and clean especially
bathroom toilet, bathtub, sinks, etc. We try our best to make the condo as pleasant and relaxing as possible unfortunately, we cannot do enough to make everyone happy.
We had a great time in chilly Myrtle Beach. The condo was a great place to stay for a couple days. It was very clean and well decorated.
We had some basic instructions on arrival. We were given the address and unit number and were told a lockbox would be on the door with the key. We went to that unit and there was no lockbox. We knocked on the door and an older couple answered. We were obviously in the wrong place. Make sure you go to the little building across the street from the resort! That's where the unit is located.
There's a white pass on a lanyard on the dresser. This is the parking pass to park in the building behind the resort. We thought it was a pass to use the pools at the resort. You'll need to keep this pass with you instead of leaving it in the car because you'll need it to get back in the building to get your vehicle.
The host is very friendly, but we never met her. We just talked on the phone and texted. She was kind of hard to get in touch with. It might have just been that weekend (Valentines), but you might want to get your questions answered before showing up.
We loved the unit and area and would love to come back sometime.
Usually I'm able to assists guests ever so promptly, the Valentine's weekend schedule was crazy busy for me, I had my first concert with the Carolina Master Choir, we had rehearsal practice for days and hours before the event. You guys are welcome anytime to visit again, may I suggest months of May to Sept.when our weather is more predictably warm and pleasant. Thanks!
Very cute little apartment with a spectacular view indeed! The water in the shower wasn't very hot and for it being the off-season I thought the rate for the room was a little pricey after all the fees, etc. but overall a very good experience and cute beach side apartment close enough to all the attractions on Ocean and Broadway at the Beach but without all the noise. The indoor pool and hot tub were a plus and we enjoyed those amenities a lot while on our stay. I would recommend this apartment and also Fatima was always very punctual with her responses to any questions we had which was a comforting feeling.
Absolutely enjoyed. Check in was a bit rocky but did not change my heart of an honest review. The only issue was that I arrived at night but still after contact several times finally got in contact to gain lockbox code access for keys. As soon as I step foot in the condo was all happy again. Very beautiful decorated-just like photos. The ocean view from living room and balcony def help my idea of studying for Cpa license and awaiting my first home purchase locally coming down from nyc. Neighbors rarely see, just really felt safe with security patrol for vehicles. I enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed! Location is prime! The only problem was the lock on front door kept chiming and at first didn't know how to get the hot water hotter- we resolved both these so not worth mentioning. Do not hesitate bc I wouldn't and met a friend in the process attending holiday party with host!
Hi. This unit was exactly as pictured. All of the updates are great. The bathtub is a bit dated, but who cares. You cross the street to the beach, but everyone else crosses to park. Did not find that to be issue at all. South Myrtle Beach at its finest. Access to all of the resort property was a super plus. The location is easy to get in and out of without long travels down the beach road. You have to walk down to the piers both left and right. Breakfast or lunch with a view to the left. On the right, the fisherman were slaying them. Exceptional dining within 3 miles in any direction. Oh, and as you walk the beach, there are many beach bars with great drinks and pub grub. It's fun to beach hop. Fatima had everything set up perfectly. She was fast to message back with information. We had a great trip with no issues.
