John's Bartlett condo met and exceeded my expectations. It is well described on the airbnb website. I had not realized how conveniently located it was to area attractions and was pleased and surprised. It's a great condo in a great location. We had a wonderful weekend.
Booking was simple and easy. John replied very quickly and succinctly and provided all the info we needed to be comfortable. The location is right across the street from Attitash Ski Resort so there are beautiful mountain views. The front desk was very supportive and attentive to our needs. On the condo grounds are indoor and outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs. The location is close to all of North Conway's amenities and tons of terrific hikes. Enough bedding and towels, etc. for us to be comfortable.
The great.... the location was fantastic. It was central to everywhere we wanted to go(Mount Washington, Wildcat, Bretton Woods, Conway). The condo had lots of hot (and I mean very hot) water. That heat lamp in the bathroom? A great hit with all. It was warm and clean and sort of set up like a hotel in the sense there was a coffee amenities like a hotel and the ability to call the front desk. The place has a nice indoor and outdoor hot tub that we used. The condo was remarkably quiet (see exception below). We knew other people were in the building but we heard nothing from them.
The not so good that may be perfectly OK for another group. The kitchen is most definitely as small as it looks and as a group that eats in and not out, it was a bit problematic at times to execute the cooking. If you aren't doing major cooking like we were, the kitchen is perfectly OK. And for anyone who is a light sleeper or has trouble sleeping and goes during the winter? The snow makers at Attitash kept me awake two of the nights with their high pitched whine. This noise did not bother the other two members of the group and they (probably rightly so) didn't think the noise was all that loud.

We (a couple) had a great time Attitash Mountain Resort. There are two floors, one with a small kitchen and a living room, and two bedrooms with 2 single and one double bed upstairs. There is a reception at the Mountain Resort, and the host was also very responsive to our requests.
The room has the feel of a skiing chalet, but it is still sufficiently big and it makes everything more cozy - things never got uncomfortable. The location was ideal for walking during the Indian summer, and there was a supermarket and some nice restaurants nearby.
As a minor point, we used the covered common pool as well as the hot tub, but the water could be cleaner.
Very happy overall.
We were made to feel very welcome at the Attitash Mountain Resort and our host was very responsive. It was located in the heart of the beautiful White Mountains and we were near the Loop, good eating places, and things to do. The complex had indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, game room, restaurant, a trail and a fishing pond. The staff were very good to us as well.
The condo itself seemed a little more geared to a family of four than two couples but we worked around it. It contained pretty much everything we needed but a few repairs were needed and space could have been a little better utilized. The gas log fireplace was very welcome as well as the terrace.
We were there for leaf peeping season and loved every minute of it.
John was efficient and the staff at Attitash were friendly and helpful. The location is great, but, as advertised, the space is tiny (aka cozy). The bedrooms are upstairs, which could be a real plus for many. However, for us (a family with a cruising infant), keeping the little guy contained and entertained in the tiny living space was a challenge. All in all, a nice place in a good location provided you are planning to spend most of your time out and about.
Nice, clean rooms as pictured. Resort was great- very friendly and helpful staff. We only visited the indoor pool and hot tub and game room in the hospitality building, kids loved it! Great location near a lot of attractions (we came up for StoryLand) and everything was easy to find. It was awesome to have a separate bedroom for the kids and they just thought it was wonderful to have their own tv. The restaurant at the resort, Matty B's, was pretty good, too. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to the White Mountains. Thanks!
