This is our second trip (of hopefully many trips) to visit Nancy again in her lovely home on the river. We had a perfect time, with our spacious room and glorious views (it was a full moon, we left the blinds open all night). Nancy was so accommodating, even when we arrived with a 4-month old baby, and had to get take-out for dinners, and rose early to leave for our scheduled activities. She handled it all! Her dog is the best guard dog around, allowing us to rub her belly. And the cat kept our feet warm by sleeping at the end of our bed. It was a memorable weekend.
Beautiful, comfortable, bedroom overlooking river. Accommodating and sociable hostess. We will go back.
Nancy made me feel welcome from the first moment showing up at the door. She gave me a tour of her lovely house, and then my room and private bathroom. The bedroom was equipped with water, flowers, and nuts on the table, which are typical of the kind of touches Nancy provides for guests. There was also a terry cloth robe and a mattress heater in the room, along with a very comfortable chaise lounge for sprawling out and reading. Comfort is really the name of the game here...the bed is sublime, and there are views out the many windows of the river and the tree tops.
I found the other reviews of this airbnb to be true to their word. Nancy is so friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Her breakfasts are plentiful and delicious and she is flexible in accommodating people's needs. I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to friends. A short drive
to Northampton, and access to other towns and
stores makes this a great, quiet spot.
Once again, Nancy invited me with open arms as if I were an old friend. I love the room she offers, right on the river, lights twinkling at night. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy, study, reflect, and look at the day's photos. Fast internet connection, great water pressure, everything is top notch.
About Nancy--she is like an old and trusted friend. And she makes the most delicious breakfasts imaginable, including fresh blueberries from her garden! A gracious host (and veritable font of knowledge on a broad range of subjects), Nancy is like a precious gift.
What a beautiful property! The pictures do not do it justice. Nancy is a wonderful host. Breakfast was wonderful and there was a never ending supply of seltzer, wine and juice. The bed was super comfortable, the room was huge, and the bathroom was sunny a spacious. Neighborhood was great. close to town but felt so private. Nancy's pets, Josie the Cat and Nicki the Dog were super sweet.
Had a wonderful stay. The room is airy and large but it is the hospitality that made my visit memorable. I loved sitting on the patio watching the quiet river roll by. The trip to Northampton takes an easy ten minutes.
We arrived late in the evening and Nancy was totally accommodating to our schedule. The room / home was beautiful and very clean. Our space was more than ample, and had a very serene feel to it, with the beautiful setting along the river and views from our bed. Her two animals were so lovely, and made us feel more than welcome! We will go back next time we are in the Northampton area, if Nancy's space is available!
