Welcome to your sunny private suite in our eco-conscious, solar-powered country home. Two rooms plus a full private bath. Farm fresh breakfast. Beautiful and peaceful 42 acre hillside property with woods, meadows, trails, and ponds. Near downtown Ithaca, Cornell, Ithaca College, lakes, waterfalls, parks, wineries, farmers market, and more. Gorgeous sunsets! Smoke-free property, indoors and out. We celebrate diversity and aim to make guests of all backgrounds feel like family.

The space
Enjoy a quiet retreat on our homestead, with meadows, woods, ponds, beautiful views, and trails right out the door. Your private suite at Dreaming Roses Eco-B&B has two beautiful rooms and a cozy full bath, with wood paneling made from trees on our land, lots of natural light, and paintings by your host, Suzy. There are beds for up to four people: a queen bed in the bedroom, and a futon sofa bed in the sitting room. Your breakfast is made with local and organic ingredients, including eggs from our hens. It's a short drive to downtown Ithaca, Cornell and Ithaca College campuses, Cayuga Lake, many magnificent waterfalls and gorges, wineries, the famous Ithaca Farmers Market, and all that this wonderful area has to offer.

While we always strive to be inclusive and welcoming to all, the needs and circumstances of our own animals make it very problematic to accommodate guests with assistance animals. If you travel with an assistance animal, please message us before booking.

Guest access
Most often, we'll greet you when you arrive. If not (e.g. if you arrive late and we're asleep), you will park in front of the garage and let yourself in through the front door into the foyer, then proceed down a short stairway to the lower level. Your suite is straight down the hallway. You have the sitting room (with a breakfast table, refrigerator, sofa, etc), and through that room to the right, the bedroom. Also adjacent to the sitting room, to your left, is your cozy private full bathroom. The rest of the house is our family space. Sorry, no kitchen access. Outdoors, you are free to use the patio, outdoor eating areas, and yard, and to roam the beautiful 42 acre property (please note that our no smoking rule applies outdoors as well). Children should not be allowed near the two ponds without our permission and explanation of pond rules. All guests should check with us first if you'd like to swim or skate.

During your stay
We will welcome you with open arms and aim to make you feel like family. We'll be more than happy to help you with whatever you may need during your stay, recommend restaurants and places to go, etc. We hope you'll understand that our busy family and work lives limit our ability to socialize with guests, but we are here for whatever you need, and we want you to feel at home.

Other things to note
We practice covid safety. Please let us know if you have symptoms or test positive at the time of your visit. Please be aware that we do not allow smoking anywhere on our property, indoors or out. Your breakfast is prepared using as many local and organic ingredients as possible, including eggs from our hens. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc), so please let us know ahead of time if there are foods you don't eat. The suite includes a refrigerator and an electric kettle for coffee and tea, but please note that it does not have a kitchen, and guests do not have access to our kitchen. Finally, please note that we have a very friendly and energetic dog who will likely greet you when you arrive.

While we always strive to be inclusive and welcoming to all, the needs and circumstances of our own animals make it very problematic to accommodate guests with assistance animals. If you travel with an assistance animal, please message us before booking.
