  • the accommodations were outstanding and truly exceeding of the highest of expectations! The pictures do not due justice to the beauty of the location of Mary's or the establishment itself! As if the location, house and food weren't enough to call me back to the Killarney View house, the staff were the true gems of this stay! Every single one I met treated me so kindly, that continents away from my family and bed, I still felt at home! Mary accepted my booking party the day of and ensured that there was someone waiting for us even with our late arrival as we drove ourselves from Dublin (thank you Kathleen for waiting for us to start your own holiday) telling us the whole way to not worry about time to just "mind the road". Although we did mind the road, we still punctured a tire and the beautiful "golden girls" particularly Margaret, ensured we knew the best place in town to get a deal and even let us mention her name :) I whole heatedly recommend the Killarney View house and am counting the days until my return.

  • They were very accommodating at Killarney view house. The lounge was lovely and peaceful. There was a fire waiting for us whenever we came back from a cold or rainy day in Ireland. They were very helpful and told us what would be best for us to do in the city of Killarney. It felt very homey there.

  • The visit to Mary’s Killarney View House was a good location with welcoming staff. While I was expecting a homestay of sorts, I was not disappointed at all. This was more like a small hotel including breakfast, a basic clean room with a shower, and very kind personnel. The location was great for achieving the Ring of Kerry and other geographic and cultural sights.

  • We had a great stay at Mary´s house with a great view on a river and a beautiful living room. Its a 5-10 minute walk to the center of the village. I highly recommend a room in this house for those who like to discover the National Park and Killarney!

  • We had a fantastic stay at the Killarney B&B. It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown Killarney with a beautiful view of the river. The staff is very friendly and made us a fantastic Irish breakfast in the mornings. The lounge with "always available" coffee/tea and biscuits was also really appreciated.

They also helped us track down a hair dryer and wine bottle opener when needed. :)

I have nothing but great things to say about this B&B and would definitely recommend it to others if looking to stay in Killarney.

  • If you are traveling to Killarney, you must stay at Mary's guest house. Ideally located for a walk to the city or a trip to the national park. The breakfast was sumptuous. The river runs adjacent to the property and makes for a pleasant night sleeps. Ideal setting, wonderful host:)

  • We had such a great time at Killarney view house! The team was very nice and available (they immediately offered to dry our clothes and offered us tea and cookies after we got back soaking wet from a walk). The room was small (tiny bathroom) but comfortable, the breakfast offered a lot of choice and the lounge room is the perfect place to relax after a long day. It's a 20-min walk from the city centre and the national park. Overall we recommend this place to you.

  • When I made the reservation, I was under the impression that this was someone's home on the water with a beautiful view and wonderful rooms. It is not a home, it is more like a hotel. Upon arrival, our triple room that we booked was unavailable. The employees apologized and tried to accommodate us by letting us choose from two different rooms; both of which were very small for three people. They brought us a roll-a-way bed which was fine and we were satisfied. However, upon further inspection of the room and the facility we noticed that the bathroom door was not private at all. There is a huge gap on either side of the sliding door and it does not provide the needed privacy for a teen daughter or myself. No toiletries, shampoo, soap, etc. The doors and walls are thin and we could hear the other guests in the hall. Also, the wifi would not reach the room which was the last one on the hall, so I had to go to the lounge to use my Kindle. (There is a lovely view of the river from the lounge and comfortable seating). Also, the windows were open in the room when we arrived which was fine for letting in fresh air, but that night many bugs were inside when we returned from dinner. I highly recommend closing your windows before dark. Later, the young man who was helping us brought me a tray of fruit and mints, which was a very nice gesture. That night, I realized we didn't have enough towels, and when I went to ask, he told me there was a cancellation and he would give us the extra room at no cost. Wonderful resolution, thank goodness. Our daughter was much happier and so were we. The young lady and man that helped us were very kind. The breakfast the next morning was very good, with cereal, eggs, black pudding, toast, etc.
