Yes, A CAVE! Built right into the red rock formations. The caves provide an incredibly unique experience for the more adventurous travelers.
**THIS LOCATION IS 45 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN MOAB/ARCHES NP**
Your cave is equipped with queen bed, kitchenette, sink, microwave, mini fridge, French press, BBQ grill, fire pit, stove burner, cooking basics (see photos.)
A centrally located bath house with 4 private units is used by all guests on the property.
The space
Come escape at our unique private space just outside of Moab. We are surrounded by towering red rock formations on the bank of the Colorado River.
We're in the heart of Moab's backcountry so there is plenty of hiking, climbing & adventuring to be had both at our site and nearby! Our ranch is located 45 minutes from Moab, so you really get the OFF-GRID experience. With minimal light pollution the stars are UNREAL. You don't want to miss it!
We are a rustic and secluded ranch in the heart of canyon country that is completely remote, with the most spectacular views sure to make your stay with us a highlight of the trip.
You will receive detailed directions 2 days before your arrival however, the last 2 miles of our road is ROUGH. so please be aware if this is something you do not want to deal with.
Our ranch water is filtered and tested, but due to the age of the system we provide some bottled water for drinking needs.
The caves are naturally temperature regulated however we do utilize an evaporated cooling unit and we have propane heaters available on site for rent at $25/tank.
Please plan ahead to bringing needed food or supplies with you for the evening. Our amazing location is not as convenient for a quick trip to the store or restaurant.
We continue to re-vitalize this amazing location and are excited to share it with our friends visiting Moab. As we continue to make improvements to this rustic venue, we hope you will forgive a few rough spots. We have turned up the resolution of the night sky so that the stars can add to your experience.

Self Check-in- You will receive your cave number the morning of your check in. Once you arrive feel free to head to your cave and get unloaded.
Vehicles:
• For your convenience please unload at your cave
• Any vehicles must park behind the rock wall to preserve everyone's view
• We cannot accommodate large trailers.
• Arrangements can be made for a single-axle trailer with prior notification to your host.
Feel free to explore the property with its endless hikes amongst the stunning red rock formations and enjoy the panoramic views of the Colorado River. With a sharp eye you can spot arches and other curious formations!
Wild Animals:
We are often visited by deer, rabbits, and the elusive Desert Bighorn Sheep along with many other.
Sunset and Sunrise are a special time on the ranch when the redrock glows and the light dances on the cliffs. It is our favorite part of being so secluded in nature.
WARNING: There is a dirt runway that is actively used for small aircraft. Guests must follow the posted signs to stay out of this area.

Pets: FEE $25.00
• If you plan on bringing a pet, please make sure to add them to your reservation.
• We require that all pets remain on leash while on the property.
• Please be sure to not leave your pets unattended in your cave or your vehicle.
While we love to host well-mannered pets we want to ensure the continual presence of our incredibly sensitive wildlife for future guests. Loud or ill-mannered pets can scare off the wildlife for months to come so we kindly ask you leave your rambunctious furry friends home with a sitter. We appreciate your consideration and judgement in this case.
The caves can accommodate up to four people, please let us know if you will need an additional floor mattress for your stay.
River access is down by the property entrance fork, take a right.
