Our family-owned house, Bússi, is located in the heart of Iceland's Golden Circle, offering a cozy and comfortable year around retreat to enjoy natural surroundings. The main objective is to provide comfort, warmth and and an inviting atmosphere. It's located in a secluded area, yet still only an hour's drive away from the city. The patio is equipped with a hot tub that is perfect for unwinding after long days. Internet is fast and reliable, fiber-optic cable. License number: HG-00017063

The house CAN accommodate up to 6 guests. We however believe 2 to 4 guests is better.

The villa is magical during snowy winter days.

We welcome families with young children. We have a cot and a high chair to make your stay more comfortable.

The villa is perfect for remote workers, as it has great Internet connection.

Úlfljótsvatn, Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur, Iceland

The location of our summerhouse is truly unbeatable. We are situated right in the heart of the Golden Circle, where you will find some of Iceland’s most popular destinations. Within a hours drive you will find (among other things) the famous geysers at Geysir, the stunning Gullfoss waterfall, Kerið crater, the historic Thingvellir National Park and Silfra where you can dive/snorkel between two continents that’s amazing right! During winter the likelihood of spotting northern lights are high in the area.

There are two towns close by, 15 and 20 minutes drive away,, Selfoss and Hveragerði, both of which offer a variety of amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, information centers etc, making them convenient places to access everything you might need.
