We are in a 3 villa complex and set back 10 meters from the main road ensuring peace and tranquility yet you can still walk out the front door and hail a cab within seconds or walk for a minute in either direction to convenience store, spa's, shops and restaurants.

We have an inhouse massage/spa therapist catering for all your pampering requirements, and we can organise baby sitting, drivers/tour guides, airport transfers, horse riding on the beach, surfing lessons, motor bikes, tailors, bookings or home delivery from some of Seminyaks finest restuarants, plus much much more, not to mention all the perks of staying with a local.

Want to meet Ketut Liyer the famous medicine man and fortune teller from Eat Pray Live? Maybe a 7 chakra healing from a Balinese priestess, swim with the dolphins or maybe the horses.. Activities are endless here in Bali and we love to help our guests make the absolute most of their holiday..

  • Villa Emma is the perfect place to stay and Debbie an awesome host. The stuff is super-friendly and made our stay just perfect. With villa Emma we had great place to stay, calm and cozy, but in short distance to shops, restaurants and bars.
Thank you very much for having us, it was the perfect ending of our time on Bali.

  • My friend and I are young women who are first time travelers, so we were looking for a place that would offer us plenty of helpful advice about the area. As soon as we arrived at Villa Emma we were kindly greeted by our host Debbie and her lovely family. They made us feel right at home straight away. The villa is absolutely stunning and so very clean, obviously well looked after. The next morning we woke up to all of the lovely staff in the morning who made us a delightful dish of fresh fruit and our choice in main breakfast meals , tea , coffee or water. Villa Emma offers free safe drinking water and wifi which works very well. Debbie and her family were so helpful to us as we are vegetarians they helped us to find good places to eat aswell as drivers and good places/activities to do. Villa Emma is only a short walk away from the beach and main streets of Seminyak , you don't even need a taxi or bike to get to these places. Overall Debbie's Villa provided exactly what we needed we are very grateful for there help on our trip.

  • We had a lovely stay with Debbie and her sweet daughter Riley. The room is cozy and my nine year old loved the pool (and playing in it with Riley once school was out). Walking in Seminyak is a headache because of the lack of sidewalks and open gaping holes, but you can get pretty much anywhere - beach, restaurants, shopping - for about 20,000 rupees - taxis go by all the time. Staff are very friendly and make a tasty breakfast. Highly recommend it ...

  • Our stay at bali villa emma was a quiet yet quaint little corner. Debbie was a good host to us and friendly, ready to help. We were delighted to be served breakfast and fruits every morning by the villa helpers. I would recommend anyone to stay there while in bali.

  • This place is amazing !!! It is more beautiful than in the pictures. Debbie is great and her daughter is so sweet. This was our favorite place we stayed in bali ( out of 4 places ) - our room was large and clean , AC worked really good , bathroom was nice. The living area and kitchen are so relaxing and beautiful. Her staff are really helpful and sweet- they make a great breakfast in the morning and help with anything you need. We has 2 massage therapists come to Debbie's home for a decent price and she set it up so quickly. The location is good- it's walking distance to everything . If you have time , take a 40 min cab ride to jimbara beach- sundara beach club. It is wonderful. Overall we had a great stay here and we recommend it to anyone! :) enjoy bali!

  • Debbie couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us so many tips for our first stop off in Bali that we were lucky to receive. She helped us sort our boat to the Gili's, change our money and gave us excellent bar & restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed a few lovely glasses of wine together & her daughter, Riley and her staff we an absolute delight. We felt really cared for & part of the family.
The room is beautiful and the location is excellent for everywhere in Seminyak. Taxis pass the villa all the time and are super cheap for getting anywhere. Breakfast was perfect, all fresh and home made including fruit, a gorgeous Nasi Goreng, eggs and pancakes. Highly recommend Villa Emma. We very much hope we'll be back one day soon!

About
I live in Bali with my daughter who is going to international school here. We have been coming backwards and forwards to Bali since she was 2 years old and now we are based here we love the idea of likeminded travellers enjoying our Darwin apartment and our home in Bali! We love living here in Seminyak for it's thriving restaurant scene, great beaches and endless activities. I have a small art gallery close to my villa in Bali featuring original fine art by a variety of local and international artists and I love to invite my guests to come and enjoy a glass of wine with me and take in the current exhibition. We return home to Darwin regularly throughout the year to catch up with friends, family and attend to home turf matters and when we do we are reminded of just how beautiful a city Darwin is.. We really do have the best of both worlds!
