  • Debbie is a great host and she did a great job by planning out our itinerary to what we requested.
We will definitely recommend you to stay in her villa when you are in Bali.

    Response from Debbie:

Thank you Liew, it was great to have you and your family stay with us at Villa Emma, we are glad you enjoyed everything on your itinerary.

  • We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The staff of the house was very helpful and nice and they prepared some very nice breakfasts for us. The location of the house is great as well, basically walking distance from most important places and quit enough at nights. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

  • Our stay with debbie was amazing, we really enjoyed her hospitality. Her staff were really kind, friendly and helpful. The Villa is in a great place not too far to walk to heaps of great places to have dinner but still quiet enough to relax. We were sad to leave debbie and her framily and Would love to stay again.

  • Had a great time staying with Debbie, very relaxing and chilled which is what we wanted. Helpful when asking questions about the local area, staff very friendly too. Will recommend to friends.

  • Great location: very close to the beach, shops, spas, restaurants, and bars. Beautiful pool and lounge area. Debbie and the staff are very kind and helpful. We were there during the wet season so linens were perpetually damp and there was a bit of a mosquito situation. Also had some technical difficulties: no hot water for the first two days and the internet was out after our first day there and was not fixed until our last day there (no big deal if you want to unplug, but kind of a problem if you have to do a little remote work). We made do with some close cafes with free wifi.

    Response from Debbie:

Thanks for your kind words Amanda.. Just wanted to clarify on this review that I was doing all in my power to resolve the internet issue. I apologise again for the inconvenience this caused you, unfortunately we are at the mercy of our service providers and our technicians keeping to their word! Regarding the hot water, again this was an unfortunate situation where we had to wait on a particular part to arrive from Jakarta before the hot water system could be repaired. As far as the damp linen and mosquitoes go as you mentioned you were here at the height of wet season, all part of the joy's of holidaying in the tropics! Glad you enjoyed the location and our beautiful pool and lounge area. Cheers

  • Debbie's place in Seminyak is a true oasis away from the business - though not far at all. Seminyak was a bit too touristy for me, but we absolutely loved Debbie's place. Her mother and daughter were there as well, all super sweet. I happened to get food poisoning while there (from some crap place at the beach) and they were super kind and helpful.

Ngurah is also so sweet and is an amazing massage therapist (among other things). Definitely get some massage and nail services while you're there :)

  • We had a very warm welcome and Debbie had arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport who was waiting when we arrived.
The villa is nice and very quiet but yet close to the centre and beach.
Debbie also arranged surf lessons which was great.
Staff very nice and friendly I can recommend anyone to stay here.
    Good value for money

  • We had a superrelaxing stay at Villa Emma. The shops, beach and restaurants are within walking distance and it is surprisingly quiet in the room and garden. Debbie and her staff are very accomodating so thank you everybody at Villa Emma!

  • What a Godsend. Debbie, her extended family and her villa where all absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I stayed in the very romantic pool house. It was peaceful, quiet, and we found everywhere we wanted to go was a comfortable walking distance. We actually preferred ordering our meals in as no restaurant could match Debbie's place for ambience. Since staying there and posting photos, I've received numerous emails from friends wishing to do the same. In fact, the entire experience leaves you considering a move to Bali! Thanks Debbie!

  • We have spent an amazing time at Villa Emma. Our room and the entire house were great, very stylish and comfortable at the same time - but my personal highlight were the garden and the pool, perfect places to relax.
We had a nice breakfast every morning including fresh fruit, really great coffee and some dish we could choose (e.g. omelettes, pancakes or local dishes - hard to say which one I'd recommend, all of them were amazing). And then, Debbie would help us with our daily plans - honestly, she helped us organize everything, we just had to tell her what we need or what we want to do and she organized it for us - at best local rates. All in all, Debbie and her staff went above and beyond, so that we had the best Bali experience possible. Thank you, Debbie, we cannot wait to come back!
