About This Listing
We have a lovely artistic space with complete privacy. We are one block from the beach, one block from the Venice Canals, and next to Marina Del Rey. Lax is 20 mins away and Abbott Kinney is just around the corner a few blocks down. A private bathroom included. Cheers!
If you use it, wash it. If you spill it, clean it.
This is your vacation but our home, please respect it.
No parties please.
Our neighbors appreciate quiet hallways.
Otherwise please enjoy our Venice Beach abode.
Better than a hotel. Great set up. They are good people. Would recommend to anyone.
Everything about this place was perfect for us! Private bedroom and patio; 2 blocks to the beach; spacious; super friendly hosts; the cutest little dog I've EVER met. We were very happy and will definitely return!
This was my second stay here, which means I like it here! Hosts again had everything prepared and were quiet and pleasant. The hosts have a bike available which is really great if you do not have a car -- I biked to restaurants, Santa Monica, etc.
The description of the place was accurate and the hosts were very inviting and a pleasure to speak with.
Had a good stay! Hosts are friendly and the house is quiet. Location was nice (beach, Washington ave). My favorite parts were the large deck just off the room, the location next to the beach and near restaurants, and that the hosts let you use their bikes (nice since there is a bike path along the beach). Since I'll be in town again soon, I've booked another stay here!
About the Host, Nicole
My boyfriend David and I have been together 7 years. We met in Las Vegas while we lived there. Realizing the ocean is way cooler than the desert we moved to the coast and have been enjoying sunny California for over three years in the most amazing townhouse right by the water. Together, we've traveled to Australia, Bali, New Zealand, Fiji, Peru, Chile, and Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico and Nepal. Pretty much every country is on our travel wish list. When we travel we enjoy really staying at unique places that allow you to immerse yourself in the community. In turn, we love showing our now home of Venice Beach to any and all people unfamiliar.
We both work in hospitality at local restaurants. I am a bartender and David is a server. One last bonus, David is an artist by passion and you will find his color adorning our walls as well as the probability of getting the opportunity of watching a painting in the making.
You should also know there is Loki. He is our 9 pound Yorki that loves attention and guests. He is hypo-allergenic and a great character to boot. He is our official "welcoming committee" and we have yet to meet someone that didn't like him.
We both are active in the community and have great advice on where to go and what to do in Venice and surrounding areas.
Good casual Italian food. Large portions!
Amazing breakfast sandwich and lunch sandwiches
Great casual experience in Marina Del Rey with waterfront views. Great SPICY shrimp is their specialty.
