Villa Opuntia sleeps 6 people comfortably in three air-conditioned bedrooms. The house has a large kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals, a separate dining room, cozy living room and and library/work area with free wifi. Relax on the front patio where you can enjoy the beautiful garden, or take a nap in one of the hammocks on the second floor balcony, or sunbathe on the rooftop terrace. The house is just a short walk to downtown Puerto Ayora and very near the entrance to the trail that takes you to the stunning Tortuga Bay Beach. The walk to the beach along the trail takes approx 30 min, but well worth it!
The house has three bedrooms each with their own en-suite full bathroom, and 1 additional half bathroom off the living room. The showers have both hot and cold water. Each bedroom has an individually controlled air conditioning unit and comfortable bedding. The house has free internet, a tv with a dvd collection, washer and dryer, and a pay as you go cell phone.
The house is ideal for families, friends, and for couples who wish to have a bit more space for themselves. All ages welcome!

The guests have access to the entire house.
Interaction with Guests
I do not currently reside in the Galapagos, so chances are I will not be there to meet you. If I am there for some reason I will come and greet you. But Maria the care taker will receive you on your arrival and hand over the house and keys.
The best way to get around the town is on foot or bicycle. Most areas of town are within walking distance. You can also rent bikes if you wish to ride around. The town also has many taxis (the white pick up trucks), a ride to anywhere within the town limits is about $1-2.
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere inside the house. You may smoke on the balcony or patio, please dispose of your cigarette butts in the garbage bin – do not throw them into the garden.
