About this listing
Central Vesterbro apartment with modern design, huge kitchen area and luxurious bath room. Ideal for co-working 6-8 people around the kitchen table w. 100/100 Mbit WiFi. Also ideal for families with small children (we have two boys, who are 2 and 4).
Our apartment is only a 7 minutes walk away from the central station, but still in a nice quiet living area of Copenhagen. The flat is kept in traditional Copenhagen style with wooden floors and stucco ceiling and it’s huge in Copenhagen-terms (110 square meters, equal to around 1180 square feet).
** SLEEPING OPTIONS **
We live 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 cat in the apartment, but because of it’s fairly large size it’s flexible to your needs.
Bedroom 1 is our adult bedroom where we sleep in a double bed and our youngest son sleeps in his crib. We could provide you with an extra airbed for the floor.
Bedroom 2 is where our oldest son sleeps in his bunk bed, which features two full adult-sized single mattresses. You could place either a double airbed or a single mattress on the floor, we could provide you with both.
Finally there’s the living room (common space). We don’t have a way to make this room go pitch black, but many have slept here in the past without any problems. You could squeeze three airbeds on the floor.
** KITCHEN AREA **
The kitchen is the heart of our home. We love cooking, so expect to find only the best of cooking equipment here. Our food is 95% organic and it’s all free for you to use – there’s pasta and flour enough to feed a small Italian village.
The kitchen table seats six adults (Eames DSR chairs) and two kids (Stokke Tripp Trapp high chairs).
** WASHING YOURSELF AND YOUR CLOTHES **
The bathroom is floor-heated (just like the hall and kitchen) and features both a rain shower and traditional shower. We also have a Stokke bathtub for the small ones (up to circa 5 yrs).
We have a huge washing machine (up to 13 kg of clothes or linen), which means you could probably wash all the clothes you brought in one go. The drier unfortunately only accepts up to 6 kg, but then you can hang the rest to dry in the bathroom.
** A HOME FOR FAMILIES **
The apartment is especially suitable for families with small kids, as our sons will leave most of their toys here. In addition the neighborhood is known for numerous amazing public playgrounds and park areas.
** YOU COULD ALSO WORK HERE **
The place is also optimal for co-working, because of our huge kitchen table and 100 Mbit up/down internet connection. We both work in internet startups, so we know how important stable and fast WiFi is.
** KEYLESS ENTRY **
In 2016 we installed a brand new keyless entry system (Danalock) meaning you can open the doors with just your phone. This means you can check-in at any time of the day, but also that you could have as many keys as you need.
We give you access to everything! We try to keep our food stricly organic, so if you take some pasta or flour, we ask that you please replace with a similar organic variety. We are both coffee geeks, so you'll have access to our slow brew equipment and some beans from The Coffee Collective. We always have 8-10 different premium tea varieties in stock.
Interaction with guests
We will check you in and out, but other than that this is your place for the stay. We'll be close by, so easily reachable by phone if something comes up.
This is our home, so please no partying or anything else that could upset our friendly neighbors without letting us know. Please let us know why you're in Copenhagen and how we could help make your stay even more enjoyable :-)

I live in Copenhagen with my wife Marie, our sons Alfred and Hugo, and our cat Otto. In the summer we stay in our vacation house most of the time, which why we rent out our own apartment here on Airbnb.
We are both food and coffee geeks. I work as an internet entrepreneur and my wife is a communications manager at another tech start-up. I've published a couple of bestsellers (UNBOSS being the most famous) and sit on a few boards, including Roskilde Festival.
