Interaction with guests

We will be at your disposal by mail, telephone, uatsap :-), and the AIrbnb web, in case of doubts or problems. We would only be present at the apartment with your prior authorization.

Other things to note

Just one minute walking and you will find Calle Zamora (Zamora Street), one of the main pedestrian areas in the city. You will be able to begin your sightseeing route visiting the original San Marcos church, with its circular ground plan and Romanesque style. Then, you can go all over Zamora Street where you will find beautiful buildings, shops and cafés until you get to the Main Square.
We strongly recommend to visit the church of the Jesuits (“Clerecía”, with the climbing to its tower “Scala Coeli”), and the Old and New Cathedral, with the climbing to their tower, “Ieronimus”; the University; the Art Nouveau and Art Déco Museum (Casa Lis); the “Huerto de Calixto y Melibea”, the “Monastery of Saint-Esteban(URL HIDDEN)
As for the churches, we recommend to visit la “Iglesia de Santa María Magdalena” (a few meters from the “Iglesia de San Marcos”, at the Calle Zamora too, a little more away on the right side, towards Plaza Mayor), and the “Iglesia de la Purísima” (it is the first church I have visited where the paintings were done before the church, being the walls the frame of the paintings).
If you have still time, there are other monuments, like the “Convento (convent) de las Dueñas”, the “Convento de Santa Clara”, …
Apart of the many attractions in Salamanca, we recommend you to visit La Alberca, Miranda del Castañar, San Martín del Castañar, Mogarraz (with its Water Route too), Candelario, Hervás, Ciudad-Rodrigo…

We stayed with my friend 2 days in Salamanca at Pablo's apartment. This was my 1st time in Airbnb and I didn't know what to expect. Pablo and Belen were great hosts. Friendly, kind and very helpful from the beginning till the end of our stay. The apartment is very well situated, just 3 minutes on foot from the casco historico. It' s on the 10th floor of a block of flats, no city view though, very comfy, perfectly clean, well decorated and well equipped for those who wish to cook, wash clothes. Nice quality of bed linen and towels, large closet to hang the clothes, fast wifi, mitsubishi aircondition. For breakfast we had a home made cake, very tasty indeed, nespresso cafe, milk and a variety of tea. In addition Pablo provided a full list of what to see and where to go! We definitely choose Pablo's apartment again if we ever come back to Salamanca. We felt like home! We definitely recommend Pablo' apartment no matter how long the stay!

Pablo was a great, hospitable host. He took the time to make sure we felt comfortable in his home, and took the time to explain a great list of recommendations for things we should do during our stay in Salamanca. Thanks Pablo!

What a wonderful experience! Pablo was so helpful and gracious. He met us at the train station and helped with our bags. He and his wife made us a lovely traditional cake that we enjoyed very much, and Pablo even provided suggestions for our next stop in Santiago. The apartment is in a great location. It is just minutes (walking) from everything you want to see, but it is quiet and comfortable. Very well stocked. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Response from Pablo:
Linda, Kiefer and John, thank you very much indeed for having trusted us and for your review. I wish you would come back to enjoy what you did not have time to (for instance, beautiful villages like La Alberca, Miranda del Castañar, San Martín del Castañar, the old town of Ciudad Rodrigo ...) and other towns like Avila or even Segovia. In any case, we wish you the best!

We enjoyed Salamanca and had a wonderful experience here. Pablo was kind, considerate and very helpful from the start, and his hospitality made our visit that much better. The apartment is cozy, super well located, and had everything we needed during our stay. Easy access to the the historic district, and proximity to the bus station and train allowed us to see so much of this city, as well as Ciudad Rodrigo, Alba de Tormes and more. Highly recommended... enjoy!

Pablo & Belen were extremely welcoming and treated us like we were friends rather than guests. Pablo explained a lot about the City and what to see. The location was centrally located and easy to get around. We had a wonderful stay an will definitely stay here again.

Frank and Zoila, I'm convinced that other hosts will also say that you are very friendly, among many other good things. We would be very happy indeed if it were possible that you came again, and we would recommend you another destinations or activities that will make your stay very pleasant. Paula will speak if you come again, and we will try as soon as possible that she speaks english! In any case, thank you very much for having chosen us, and we wish you sincerely the best!

Pablo is a super great host. He met us at the train station and walked with us to the apartment. He made for us a large lemon pound cake which was still warm when we arrived. He volunteered numerous pieces of touristic type advice and hints. He had be very attentive to us during our three day stay in Salamanca. His place is comfortable but works best for a couple. The place quickly becomes very cramped when a foldout bed must be open in a small living/dinning area.

Response from Pablo:
Marcin and Eva, thank you very much indeed for having chosen us. We wish you sincerely the best for the future. As for the space, I understand your honest point of view, but we have had many reviews from 4 people (the last, Eric) and 3 people (the last, Christophe), and they ended up very satisfied indeed for what we gave them, they valued at most the very good relationship between quality and price, and they gave us five-stars. I promise. All the best, Pablo

Pablo and Belen were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. The apartment is located minutes away from the Plaza Mayor and it was true to the pictures. It is very well appointed with all necessary cooking utensils and small appliances. I loved the towels and bed linens. Having such great hosts absolutely made me feel very at home in Salamanca :)

Belén is an english teacher, and enjoys giving advice about Salamanca, as well as I, Pablo, who speak english, french and german, and have studied tourism. I have
spent more than two months in different Refuges along the Saint James' Way, helping pilgrims as a volunteer to feel at ease and to rest. We would both be delighted helping you enjoy your stay in Salamanca.
