A one-bedroom modern apartment in the popular Bow Quarter, the converted matchstick factory development in east london. The flat is on the 2nd floor, facing into the grounds and comprises of a reception with open plan modern kitchen, separate double bedroom and full bathroom suite. the bedroom sleeps 2 (though i must point out that it is a small double bed) but there is also a double sofa bed in the living room for extra guests, all bedding and towels are included, both for the main bed and the sofa bed (on request).
There is a washing machine/dryer in the flat.
There is no internet/wifi in the flat but there are cafes/mcdonalds nearby where there is free wifi or you can pay to connect to BTopenzone in the building.
This unique complex is complete with 24-hour portered security, a bar and restaurant and a convenience store. The store is open 7am-11pm everyday including weekends and also has a dry cleaning service. The bar/restaurant (Madisons) serves the best curry and tandoori which is also available for take away!
Despite all the on site facilities this is a residential complex not a holiday site although it does have that feel. The residents are mostly young professionals and families and everyone is very friendly and quiet. It is a lovely, relaxing community to stay in.
Perfectly located near to the 2012 olympic stadium and quick transport links to central london and popular destinations such as columbia road flower market, broadway market, victoria park & village, brick lane and shoreditch.
The flat itself is located just about 7 minutes walk from Bow Road tube station (District Line and Hammersmith & City Line, zone 2), 5 minutes from Bow Church DLR station and 15 minutes walk from Mile End tube station (Central and District Lines, zone 2) . Buses (25, 205) stop at the end of the road and run 24 hours a day. The A9 also go from this stop and runs to/from London Stansted Airport approx every half hour, with a journey time of about 1 hour door-to-door.
The Olympic site and Westfields shopping centre is also only 10 mins away by bus or DLR tube from Bow church. The City of London is accessible within 15 minutes, and the West End can be reached within half an hour.
If you need parking then there is a space available in nearby Pancras way (250m walk) for £10/day, let me know if you would like to use this when you book.
The neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet as it is a gated community away from the main road and the flat faces onto the gardens not the road side. A great place to relax after a busy day seeing the sights in London!

My husband, my daughter and me, spent a week in Siobhans flat.
Very nice flat, perfect for 3 people, perfect location, close to the metro.
Everything you need is in the flat.
Siobhan is felxible with check in and out.

Great location and really lovely flat! Perfect for the event we went to. Love the way you can pretty much see the olympic stadium. Siobhan was very friendly and thoughtful. Not much to gripe about but it would have been brilliant if there could have been wifi!
Siobhan's place is a nice and well-equipped flat situated in a very interesting quarter that is a former match factory. Siobhan is a great host and easy-going person with whom you can arrange time of your arrival.There are leaflets about London at your disposal as well as tips for making your stay in London more pleasant. The flat is easily accessible by metro and buses from the city centre. All in all, my friends and I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place!
Me and my parents stayed at Siobhan's place for 4 days, and i must say that we had the most comfortable holiday there.
Siobhan has a lovely little flat (perfect for three people), not too far from the city and just 7 mins walk from the metro, which was ideal for us as we were traveling to the city centre everyday. I highly recommend this flat and will definitely be back Siobhan!
We had a really great stay at Siobhan's apartment and found everything needed for visiting London for a few days. I went there together with my wife and my 4 years old son. There was enough space to relax and play games.

Siobhan was a very gracious host. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her "calm oasis." It was close to buses and two Tube stations, and was a wonderful place to return to at the end of each day. Felt like coming home.
We spend two nights at Siobhan apartment. There were tree of us and I personally slept on the sofa-bed, that is amazing comfortable!
The atmosphere in the flat is so familiar, after 2 minutes spent over there you will feel at home.
I loved all the decorations Siobhan has in her flat - it is definitely better than an unpersonal hotel in London.
All you need is there, even some guides on what to visit in the town and a sound system that allows you to play nice music.

Estoy viviendo en Londres y mi familia (mis padres y mi hermana) vinieron a verme, nos hospedamos en el apartamento de Siobhan, y fue realmente perfecto. Tal como se ve en las fotos, es un lugar tranquilo y el apartamento se encuentra dentro de una urbanizacion privada, antiguamente la fabrica Bow Quarter. El apartamento es muy acojedor, limpio y completo.
We have been really fine in the Siobhan's apartment, is located in a quite place close of the underground station (Bow Road), the apartment is really clean, confortable and clean. Perfect for a family, friends or couples. Siobhan is really friendly and attentive.
