Thanks you so much Nidhi for your feedback, for noting we provided a spacious room, hot and clean shower, comfortable beds and, most importantly for recommending us to other travellers. Travellers looking for affordable, safe, clean, personalized and friendly service always do choose WD’s B&B, as the other options do not compare to ours, and those hotels are located above nightclubs. Charity is a small cozy town, and from our repeat guests and their compliments we know our B&B remains the best place in town to rest your head, and when in transit to Guyana’s rainforest, Venezuela and Georgetown.
Our listing does describe the small shopping centre below, providing guests/travellers with personal clean safe shopping and a chance to buy local crafts and products. Also, in Guyana, a “hotel” licence is required to operate a B&B and the word “hotel” must be displayed on property. We are so very sorry the hotel across the street was noisy, and thanks for letting us know (we wish you had told us during your stay). We have been working with the local police to bring under control as it’s required to stop loud music at 11PM. Honestly it is the first time that a guest has mention the noise issue to us and our regular guests include families, the Catholic missionaries, the Red Cross and government officials. Our listing description and photos do accurately reflect the service and environment we provide for our guests, as well as activities they can do visiting that part of Guyana. We do take pride in ensuring your stay is safe, comfortable and enjoyable, and we thank you for staying with us.
