  • Very nice apartment in Rome right next to the Central Termini, easy access to buses and trains. The place was very clean and hostess very nice and helpful in telling us about Rome

  • My stay at Rome was unpleasant mostly due to the stay at this house. The homeowner is not Sergio who I communicated through messages and it is one old lady who does not speak any English. I do not mind the part that she does not understand or speak any English. But when we got there, we had to wait outside for a half hour for her to come down. The lady is very rude, does not mind even pushing me away physically when I asked her about the checkout time being different from what I read in the receipt. It clearly said in a number(no problem understanding that for sure) that the checkout time is at 11 am and she insisted that we get out by 9 am. I understood this much because she wrote "9" on a paper. She also did not like that we took a shower at 11pm when clearly it says "private bathroom" and you would expect some privacy other than shouting in Italian outside of your bathroom door while you are in a shower! That was just a horrifying experience. I really liked Rome but because of my stay here, I really did not enjoy as much as I should or could. I would not recommend this place, there are so many hotels and hostels near the Train station and this place isn't even cheap. We paid nearly $100/night and greatly regret that we stayed here.

  • Handy location for rail travel. Sergio failed to respond to a message we sent him regarding breakfast that we thought was provided. No place to make a coffee/tea. Just a room & shared bathroom. Have had better.

  • My Wife and I really enjoyed our time at the Fiorini Guesthouse. The location was excellent, and the room was as described.

  • Overall a good experience and a good value choice in Rome. The room was comfortable, our host (a charming elderly lady) was lovely and helpful despite not speaking English. She allowed us our privacy and we tried to respect her home.

Most importantly for us, the accommodation was very conveniently located for our excursions around Rome. There were a number of brilliant cafes around that were the perfect stop off for a morning meal and coffee before sightseeing - they were also really cheap if you got it to take away!

There are only a couple of negatives I would mention that stop me from giving it 5 stars (if I could give 4.5 stars I would).

One was that the directions to the apartment were great, but we didn't know what to do once we arrived. We tried calling the phone numbers on our confirmation but couldn't get through straight away.

Secondly, although the room was comfortable, it was also quite dated. I don't care much about shiny new furniture, but what is important for me is a good night's sleep. It wasn't the worst, but the bed is quite old and creaky, and could have been a little bit more comfortable.

As I said, an overall very good experience and thanks to the hosts for making our trip to Rome an enjoyable one!

  • The place is really well located. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The host is really kind and always willing to help you. The price is good for what you get.

  • Overall good place. Never actually met Sergio or Mariet. The was a sweet Italian women that lived there that checked us in. She did not speak English but we managed fine. The noise at night on the street was very loud so if your a light sleeper be warned. Close to the train station and hop on hop off bus starting point.

  • Great & extremely friendly and warm hosts who made us feel at home. Location is fantastic and within 5mins walk to Termini station. A decent room, which was kept clean and tidy daily. Recommended! Especially if you like the convenience of being near the train station / metro.
