Although the location and outside of the property are outstanding, this single room on its own from the house was only modestly acceptable. I would describe the inside of this room more as a small rustic outdoor cabin than a private bedroom in a home. The bed was not comfortable, indoor lighting is insufficient, and the air conditioning in June could not keep up with the heat. With fees my stay was really $125 a night not $95 a night. This room is not what I expected from the listing and it was not a good value for the price paid.
I was given helpful instructions before I arrive and the place had a private entrance so I did not meet the host. A nice quiet place to stay while at a week long conference. Bed did creak a bit otherwise fair ammenities. A complimentary packet of brewing coffee would be most welcoming
The room comes up to be to be 134.50 after you pay for the cleaning fee and the air bnb fee not 95.00. Room was ok there are no amenities just the room. They say there is a pool but in the main house and they are very selective on who can use it. Not everyone is allowed to use the amenities.
We saw the host once when we first arrived. And, never again even when we checked out. We had to call him to let him know that we were checking out.
There is coffee maker in room but no coffee available for it. Location is very close to sedona and the state parks. Location of the property is A+.
My days in the writers room were absolutely wonderful! I love this place and I will never forget having my morning coffe sitting in this beautiful nature surrounding this characterfull room! Neil was very friendly and helpful too! The contact with Terri easy and also very friendly! Thank you so much! :)
My husband and I stayed at the Writer's for four nights and had the best time. Neil was there to greet us and provide useful tips. The room is just perfect for two people, has a spaceous bathroom with everything you might need. The general area is beautiful, residential, very quiet, perfect for observing the starry sky. Nice walk or short drive to all the shops and restaurants, and the property is sitting right next to the Airport Loop Trail, which provides a 360 view of all the beautiful rock formations (be prepared for a lengthy hike). Overall wonderful, planning to make this an annual trip!
Amazing place, gorgeous serene beauty within the majestic Sedona surroundings. Peaceful. Super close access to all the best spots. Can't wait to come back!
I felt welcome from the first communication. I love, love, love this property and location and I didn't want to leave. Neil was an added bonus. I got to go home with one of his beautiful etchings. I am so happy i found this listing. I've already promoted it to friends. Would like to think i'll be back next year.
The only thing i wanted and didn't bring with me was a hair dryer.
