Cute, cosy, and clean, this apartment is a great location for anyone looking to enjoy toronto's trendy west end arty neighbourhood.
Perfect for travellers looking to immerse themselves in all the city has to offer. Lots of great restaurants, bars & nightlife in the immediate area. Close to several great parks and Queen West shopping district.

I will not be present during your stay. Should you need any assistance I will be a phone call away and have LOTS of helpful neighbours that we (or you) can ask for help at any given time.
Please be aware that the apartment is in a popular part of town on a major street. It can be noisy with street traffic. For light sleepers I will provide earplugs and there is an couple fans in the bedroom that offers some white noise.
Bienvenue, I hope you'll have a nice stay!

Mathilde is a model host. She was helpful and prompt in her communications right from the start and all the way through. She brought us an extra fan when it got hot (which made the noise on College Street a non-issue) as well as additional thoughtful touches. Her apartment is lovely: classic, comfortable and subdued. It was the exact central home base we were looking for, and we loved cooking in her little kitchen. I would highly recommend staying here.
(EN) Mathilde was very nice, thoughtful and easy to reach. The apartment fits very accurately its description, very warm and cozy, but also a little noisy at night especially on weekends. Everything was very clean and linen & towels were provided. Great stay overall!
Mathilde is as lovely and charming as her apartment. Thoughtful and kind, she was always quick to respond, even when she was miles away.
With easy access to streetcar, bus, or subway, and free overnight parking right up front, the location of the apartment is ideal for any visitor. As a fellow Torontonian it was fun to explore a different 'hood... Learned that Dufferin Grove neighbourhood has lots of cute and yummy cafes and restos to check out, and conveniently next to the Dufferin Mall for any grocery or shopping needs.
Lots of natural light, spacious, and equipped with anything you could possibly need (from olive oil to a yoga mat), I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Mathilde's apartment!
Merci beaucoup encore pour tous, Mathilde !
Mathilde was an excellent host. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We found the area very convenient with easy access to restaurants, bars and the the city. I would highly recommend staying at Mathildes place.
We stayed about three weeks at Mathilde's place and were really happy there.
Mathilde is a super nice host and very forthcoming. The apartment itself is also really great. The place is very cozy and super clean. The location is perfect because public transport is right in front of the door and there are lots of places for shopping groceries and eating out.
Highly recommended !
I'd love to but I'm leaving for Portland this week for a little holiday. I just got some mail for you though and I could leave it at the common on wednesday if you want to pick it up!
happy victoria day! Let's go for drinks when I come back!
PS: I just when to a BBQ place in parckdale tonight. Electric mud, It's amazing! the food is really nice. It's the same owners as a tacos place on queen called Grand electric and the fish tacos there are a must try! I'm going to add these place to my airbnb recommendations as well as La cubana on roncesvalle. That's a bran new cuban place that you simple have to go to!
thank you for the great review!
I do not have enough nice things to say about Mathilde and her space. Beautiful apartment, beautiful person. Spacious, calming, great area. Mathilde is quick to reply, and very reliable.
Would definitely recommend.
Staying at Mathilde's was a wonderful experience! Right from the start, communication was timely and easy. We found the place without any issues, and even though Mathilde was out of town during our stay, she arranged it so that we could pick up a key at the wonderful coffee shop (that we went to everyday) across the street.
Mathilde's home was small, but it was cozy and it was obvious that an artistic person lives there. The apartment was stylishly and eclectically decorated. The bed was comfy, and we were well provided with clean linens and towels.
The location was fantastic. We loved pretending to be locals, as this area isn't super touristy, but there are so many lovely shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a streetcar stop directly in front of this apartment, and a subway station only a few blocks away!
We would absolutely stay at Mathilde's again!
