Sunny Private Room in Williamsburg!

Apartment - Private room · Graham Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

The Space

Located conveniently in the heart of Williamsburg, this huge private sun-soaked two-bedroom apartment is surrounded by countless bars and restaurants, a grocery store & laundromat, tons of 24hr bodegas, and everything you need to have an amazing New York experience! Great for couples or singles!

THE APARTMENT
This one-floor walk-up is located right off of Graham Avenue and is the only apartment in the building. The unit is made up of two large bedrooms, a spacious living room, a kitchen, and full bathroom. Both bedrooms are located off the living area and provide great views of the Brooklyn. The nearest subway (The Graham Ave. L Train stop) is located less than half a block from our front door, and is a five minute subway ride to Manhattan. Both the building's front door and our front door feature locks & deadbolts, and both of the bedrooms feature locks as well for extra privacy.

THE BEDROOMS

Both sun-soaked bedrooms are located off the living room and have their own windows overlooking Graham Avenue, along with their own heater and AC unit. Both come fully furnished with queen size beds, desks and chairs, as well as closet and storage space.

THE LIVING ROOM

The extremely spacious living area has a comfy couch, a coffee table, and two TV's. It also features a large window overlooking a small private terrace. The digital thermostat on the wall easily controls the heaters in every room, and we have several lamps in addition to the ceiling light fixtures. There's also a large book-case / wall unit for more storage space, and two extra tables for personal use.

THE KITCHEN

A brand new refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave take center stage in this great kitchen. We do a ton of cooking in here and have all of the pots, pans, plates, silverware, spices, glasses, mugs, and any other kitchen ameniites you'll need if you choose to cook. We also have a Breville juicer, two french press coffee pots, and a side-by-side double-toaster. Oh and guess what? Another giant window! There's also tons of storage space available for groceries and stuff like that.

BATHROOM

Full size shower, new toilet, mirror cabinet, sink and….you guessed it - another window! On the ceiling! It's a skylight.
The Neighborhood
Once you get your stuff in your room, get outside and hit the town! Graham Avenue is packed with cool bars, hot restaurants, great coffeeshops, and a million bodegas that are open all night.

On our side of the block alone, we have a two bodegas (both organic), sushi & sake at Sakura Japanese, fresh mexican at Mesa Coyocan, Dunkin Donuts, a local ice cream shop, and Carmine's Pizza; voted the best slice in Williamsburg! On the other side of the block, there's great burgers and micro-brews at Mother's, wine & tapa's at Oak Wine Bar, fresh seafood at Sel De Mer, fast & fresh burrito's at El Loco, and Stumptown coffee at Cafe Variety. And that's just on our block! The next 7-10 blocks in each direction are just as packed with great food & drink options.

The apartment is also just a short walk from both Bedford Avenue, for even more cool bars and awesome restaurants, and also historic McCarren Park, which now features a water-park and weekly Farmer's Market in addition to the multiple running tracks, basketball court and tennis courts, and lovely outdoor scenery. Great live music and comedy are also nearby, with both The Knitting Factory, the Alligator lounge, and Legion located a couple blocks away.

  • Alex and his roommate were amazing hosts. I booked the day before, and everything ran smoothly and felt like I had given them months of advance notice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Pictures do the apartment justice. The neighborhood is really active, and there were multiple tasty restaurants within easy walking distance. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
