We stayed at Kristina's condo for more than a month and had a great experience. Everything was just as described (even better), and Patty, the housekeeper, was wonderful. The garden is beautiful, and we enjoyed it very much. The location was perfect--so accessible to everything. We had a car, but you could easily get around with buses and taxis from Kristina's house. Kristina was very prompt in responding to my emails. We had no complaints or problems with anything. The other condo residents were very nice, quiet, and respectful. Thank you, Kristina--we hope to stay at your house again.

This is my second stay at Kristina's place and just as the first time it was perfect. Great location -- quite and upscale neighbor. I felt completely safe the entire time. I would walk to a number of location with no problem. The kitchen is well equipped and the water pressure in great - the whole place is clean and the patio and garden are just wonderful -- very pleasant for having a morning cup of tea or coffee - the plants, flowers are beautiful and the hummingbirds are great to watch. I would highly recommend Kristin's place to anyone - 5 STARS for sure..and I hope to be back soon.

The place was great! If you stay, you definitely need to speak Spanish though. Place was clean, and close to stores, the zoo and the airport.

We booked this place on the recommendation of friends who had previously stayed here and loved it. There was an issue with the water/plumbing right before we arrived, and Kristina did a tremendous job of planning ahead, staying in clear communications and booking accommodations and ensuring we still had a great time while in Guatemala City. Would recommend Kristina as a host!

Kristina’s two-story house is roomy, peaceful and comfortable, with a beautiful, well-groomed garden. However if you are carrying heavy luggage this is probably not the place for you, since in order to access the house you’ll need to descend two long flights of stairs (that get quite slippery when it rains). Both the master bedroom and the smaller guest room would really benefit from some updating. Beds, bed linens, pillows and towels were not as fresh as they should. The kitchen is fully furnished. Wifi works, although it’s kind of slow. Excellent water pressure. Mosquitoes kept me constant company. Cable TV didn’t work. Location in Zona 14 in Guatemala City, near the end of Avenida Las Americas, was perfect for my needs. You will need a car / cab to move around. Kristina replied promptly to all my questions, and was nice enough to be flexible with check-in and check-out times. When I informed her I had accidentally scorched one of the pots from her kitchen, she was gracious enough let me repair my sin for a nominal charge - without getting mad at me :) One morning I was surprised to see two unknown men in the garden. At first I thought they were thieves, and almost called the police I then learned they were just the gardeners, on their regular weekly visit, who have entered (without announcing themselves) through a backdoor connecting to a neighboring home. I think I should have informed about their visit, and particularly about the fact that they had direct access to the property without the need of knocking the door.
