Great apartment, we loved our stay. Perfectly located within a few minutes of the Colosseum, The Forum and many restaurants.
Be prepared for a hike as it is on the 5th floor of a building with super high ceilings and no elevators!
Some of the pictures are not from this apartment, as you are not able to see the Colosseum from any of these windows.
Lastly, be warned there is a cash-paid tax of 2€/night/person that will be collected your first night.
Very nice apartment in central Rome. We can definitely recommend this (website hidden) in all rooms (except kitchen). Perfect for our family with three children.
This apartment was a perfect size for a family with three children. One room has a comfortable bed for the parents and the other three twin beds. There is only a tub, and it is up four extra long flights of stairs. This did not bother us, but it is worth mentioning. There is a good grocery store around the corner and a some great gellato just down the block- again, great for a family with kids. We found the location convenient, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the very frustrating delay in getting in to the apartment. I had arranged to get in early, as we were arriving after an overnight flight with tired children. We had to wait two hours outside the apartment for someone to let us in. Part of this was because we were a bit earlier than expected, and without a European cell phone, I had no way to contact anyone. I looked everywhere for a public phone... But even if we had arrived when we were supposed to, we still would have been waiting a good forty minutes. An American woman who lives in the building told us there are often people waiting outside to be let in. It is a difficult problem to manage, I realize, with off site management and travelers without phones. And as I said, once we were over our initial frustration, it was a good experience. Management also arranged return transportation to the airport for us, which was on time and as advertised.
Great place to stay! We were offered a ride from the train station even though we got in at 7pm and the place was very clean when we arrived. Location is great for subway and bus stops, a taxi stand is right outside as well. Don't miss the rooftop view, and visit the neighborhood cafe on the corner for your morning espresso. Host was very accommodating, polite, and would recommend to any of my friends.
