Interaction with guests

I am a traveling a lot this semester, but I love meeting and hanging out with my Airbnbers when I am home. Even when I am away, there is someone local that can come by to help out if you need a hand with the house, and I am in touch by text message/airbnb message to answer any questions and help with whatever you need. I have met some fantastic guests and made lifelong friendships through Airbnb. You might not be the only Airbnbers at the house as there is another room available. I hope that you will enjoy your stay here!

Thanks, Terry. It's always appreciated when guests clean after themselves. Of course the house is also always thoroughly cleaned top to bottom between each guest. =)

I spent 10 days at Stacey's place wile on spring break in Tampa. Stacey was a great host. Her place worked great foe me, as I wanted to enjoy Gulf Beaches during the day and then return to Tampa in the evening to enjoy the night life.

The backyard was loaded with amenities (comfortable seating and protected gazebo). Great place to hang out in a warm February. It's about a mile from a shopping center with a cinema and commercial strip with a Starbucks and both indie and franchise food outlets. House was roomy and comfortable. And it's very close to the Univ of Southern Florida campus.

This was my first time using AirBnb.. Stacey was great.. everything she posted about the room was accurate and she helped me to find things around I would've never found on my own.. She was very easy to communicate with and made me want to actually move to Florida.. if you are thinking of going to Tampa, I would definitely recommend Stacey, especially if this might be your first time and are not sure what to expect.. I will be house hunting soon and will be using her as much as possible.

Great place for students due to proximity to USF. The house is not new but has been recently remodeled. Check-in and security system was very easy to follow, and you are provided with a lot of clean towels. The house has all new appliances specially the washer/dryer. Very good internet speed for watching Netflix. Lots of food options nearby and Bush Gardens is only 5 minutes away by car. My issue is mainly with the neighborhood, which can feel bit unsafe walking around late at night. Also, the room was a bit tiny, but there is a lot of space in the rest of the house. I had a lot of luggage which I kept in the yoga area in the living room throughout my stay. Overall, great value for money, and would recommend this place.

Response from Stacey:
Thanks for the feedback, Yaser. =) I suppose what makes people feel safe/unsafe is quite personal. =) Having lived in several neighborhoods around USF, mine is one of the safest near the university, but it's all relative. No matter where you are, it's good to be aware of your surroundings. I went for long walks between 1-5 am when I couldn't sleep during my 9th month of pregnancy and always felt perfectly safe. =)

I am interdisciplinary artist. I do video, photography, installation, printmaking, new media works and other fun visual arts stuff. I work as an adjunct instructor at a couple of colleges, teaching foundations, photography, and video courses. I also do a bit of freelance and create & exhibit my own work.

I'm happy give recommendations for fun things to do in the Tampa area and can suggest art events and other local flavor. Also I know lots of good parks and outdoor activities around the greater Tampa Bay area. I have lived in the area most of my life.
