Come stay in a private room in my home, a warm and inviting 3 bedroom home located in the heart of Tampa Bay. This location is in a terrific a spot very close to University of South Florida, Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island.
Your private bedroom has new queen size bed (with memory foam mattress for extra comfort). In the closet you'll find extra linens/towels/pillow and room to hang some clothes and store your luggage. There is a big window with a great view of the landscaped front yard for bird watching and letting in a lot of light during the day if you choose to have the blinds open.
There is a gazebo out back for lounging on pleasant evenings, and a big scenic wood front porch with two chairs to relax on after a long day. Overall there is a lot of great outdoor space to enjoy the inviting Florida weather.
The rest of the house has lots of spacious common areas to relax in.
The kitchen is a cook's dream with large granite island and countertops, space in the fridge if you want to pick up some groceries for yourself, and plenty of cookware you are welcome to use if that's your thing. I also like to cook sometimes so there is a possibility of a home cooked meal from time to time. The local grocery store is only 5 minutes away from the house also, which makes shopping a snap.
If you are a dog lover, there is also a very friendly dog who would love to hang out with you. If not, he can hang out in my room as it is large and set up like a studio apartment so even if he is here, you don't have to have him around a lot.
The house is under a 20 minute drive to downtown Tampa and all the sites. It's also located near the major interstates I-275 and I-4 so it's convenient to Tampa International Airport easy to get anywhere in Tampa Bay from here.
The house is:
15 minutes to Ybor City (dance clubs/concert venues/boutiques)
9 minutes to Busch Gardens
6 minutes to Adventure Island
6 minutes to Museum of Science and Industry
12 minutes to Lettuce Lake Park (canoe/kayak rentals on the river)
16 minutes to downtown Tampa/Tampa Museum of Art
22 minutes to Hyde Park (trendy boutiques/restaurants)
25 minutes to Tampa International Airport
Please check out my guidebook for a bunch more great things to do in the area.
Tampa Bay is not known for great public transit, and I recommend renting a car, but there is also a bus stop just 2 minute walk from the house.

Me and my wife stayed with Stacy for three months as I was doing a clinical rotation at Moffitt hospital , when we came to her place she was a host and when we left the place she was a close and very dear friend . She is by far the most hospitable host , she tried her level best to make us comfortable and at times we actually forgot that we are not guests , If someone is dog lover , there is a treat for you , SHEROY , and if you are not , then behold you will be a dog lover after your stay . Place is very conveniently located , close to Malls / USF and Interstate . We were allowed to use whole house , including Kitchen , living room and gazebo . We highly recommend this place , a place to stay and make new friends . We are already missing our stay and will love to come back and stay with Stacy .
Stacey has a lovely home with plenty of backyard space for relaxing by the plants and pool. I especially enjoyed her kitchen, which is of an open design with plenty of workspace. Home appliances were new, and furtniture was comfortable. As I was staying for two months, I had the opportunity to become very comfortable at her home. Stacey was welcoming, provided information about the local area, and didn't mind when I became less social in order to get work done. I'm going to miss Shayroy (dog), who was always excited to see me on return from work. He is very well behaved, playful when you've got the energy for it, and always a lover of attention.
Stacey is a great hostess! The room is VERY comfortable and the house is in a central location. I will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Tampa.
Her house and room are simply beautiful and comfy. The decoration has her touch reflecting her good taste. A nice place to relax and feel safe. Stacey is a great hostess but the most important thing is that she is great and sweet person.
I stayed with Stacy while visiting Tampa to be with my dad during his final days on this earth. I enjoyed my stay. I slept comfortable and Stacy was a warm and welcoming host. As weed her dog Sherman. She was very accommodating and friendly. I felt welcomed in her home. My room was nice and comfy for me. Thank you Stacy for being a good host.
I was able to stay with Stacey while my Dad was in the hospital. What a wonderful place to return to at the end of the day. Clean, comfortable, the bed was great, the kitchen beautiful.
Stacey is quiet and easy, but helpful if I asked anything.
It made my trials in the hospital so much easier!
Stacey hospitality and charisma adds comfort to ones stay. For those who may not adhere to pets, (Dog), her canine is well behaived and trained, he was delightful. I definetly recommend Staceys' lodging accomidation.
Stacey was a wonderful host who really thought of everything. Her home is clean, comfy, spacious and located in a very pretty neighborhood, convenient to both 275 and USF. Her hospitality and knowledge of the area made me feel at home. And her dog is very sweet and well behaved! I recommend her highly.
Stacey is a great host, she will do everything she can To make you confortable. I had an amazing journey, i recommend stacey To everyone !
I decided to come to Tampa for a few days with no real agenda except to relax, meditate and take in some art and nature. Stacy let me know before I booked with her that she would be able to give me some help in the arts and nature dept. She came through on this excellently. I went to a couple of parks, kayaked on the Hillsborough River (a definite highlight), visited some museums etc. Stacy was more than helpful. The bedroom was cozy and comforting. The house was attractive in a good location for getting to the USF, Busch Gardens etc.
