Very many thanks.
Alex's flat was perfect for my requirements as I know this area of London very well. It has a patio for warm weather use and a well supplied kitchen; the beds were comfortable; the towels plentiful: a terrific shower in one of the bedrooms and a bath. Pimlico is like a small town with every market and fast food shop close to hand, but the transportation to the tourist center is easy and convenient. I hope to stay here again. Lou Spitalnick
Hello Louis, thank you very much for your thoughts and review. As it happens, I have bought an additional mirror for the bathroom so that will be going up asap. The apartment was renovated just last year - the final touches will be a new fridge, oven and the installation of the new shower in the back bedroom. I am glad you and Gillian had a great time in London. Very many thanks for your visit. All best wishes, Alex
Alex was a great host! we didn't actually meet him, but his emails were welcoming and full of all the information we needed. His flat is in a great spot, close to Victoria underground, rail and coach stations and walking distance to Buck palace and Big Ben. 200 m away there is a big Sainsbury supermarket on a street with lots of eat out options.
Alex's flat was great for our family of five. The main bedroom had a double bed and a small shower, the second bedroom also had a double bed. Our fifth child (also a teenager) slept on an airbed in the lounge room. The kitchen was very small but had everything we needed, including cooking oil, salt, pepper and all the other condiments you need to cook meals. The large washing machine in the separate bathroom/laundry meant we could keep up with our washing and the central heating made sure our clothes dried easily.
We would stay at Alex's place again if we visited London and will be recommending it to our friends.
Alex is very friendly and did his best to make our trip a pleasant one. The flat is ideally located to visit London, it takes less than ten minutes walking to go to the tube and main bus stations. The flat is as described, confortable enough for four adults and two kids, with a well-equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this flat to anyone who wants to be close to major tourist locations (Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain, Trafalgar Square...).
Alex offered so many tips about the local area, pubs, shopping. He seemed truly interested in helping us have a wonderful stay. The location is very close to several bus routes and Victoria underground is a short walk away. There's a lot of small hotels in the neighborhood. A comfortable flat.
We've had a really nice stay in the flat. It was well located close to Victoria station (5min walking), well equipped, clean, beds are comfortables and the court is appréciable. Alex is a well reactive man with good advices.
We would definitivelly recommend
I stayed here with a friend coming from overseas for a week and it's a great place. Nice little yard, very cozy. I would rent again.
The apartment was great. 5 minute walk to Victoria metro station. A great grocery store just around the corner. Just what we needed for our stay.
Hi, I'm Alex and I work in central London but try to spend as much as time possible in South America. When in London, I love being in Pimlico and wouldn't live anywhere else (truly, anywhere).
Let me know if you need anything specific for your stay, it will be a pleasure to help out. I hope the apartment will be a highlight of your visit to London.
