Fully equipped kitchen; oven/grill/dishwasher/toaster/kettle/fridge/microwave (website hidden)/DVD
Bath and shower
Sheets & towels provided
Please note that check-in on weekdays is anytime after 2.30pm, but completely flexible at weekends. Check-out is completely flexible at all times as I always leave a day or two between guests.
To prevent any confusion, this room is in my home where I live, and the bathroom is shared, but I love welcoming guests and I'm happy to help you along your travels or just offer a place to sleep, whatever you prefer, but its not a private/entire flat for rent.
Not much in the way of house rules but...
1) Smoking is allowed in the sitting room, but not anywhere else in the flat
2) I prefer people to take their shoes off in the house as the tiles and carpets are beige.
London is a very soggy place, please don't drag mud through the house
3) I know the airlines are utterly fascist these days, but please bring your own toiletries, if you need something I am more than happy to oblige, but please ask.
I think thats it, just general human decency...and no stealing obviously.
Kat was an amazing host and surpassed all my expectations. She was friendly and very helpful. She offered to do things for me such as pick up things at the grocery store.
Kat's apartment was just as advertised - private room in her apartment, clean, and convenient to public transportation. Kat even had left London guide books and caramel snacks in the room. I was also allowed to use all of the apartment facilities.
Overall, my stay at Kat's place was great. She did a lot of little things that made my stay enjoyable and I would recommend it to everyone.
Everything was as other reviewers have said; Kat is a great host and the apartment is just as advertised. It's a lovely neighborhood, the apartment is really close to Pimlico tube station. I came from London City Airport and the connection was great, just under an hour by DLR and tube.
Kat was very helpful and sweet, her apartment was nice and clean. I had a great stay!
Kat was a fantastic host. The apartment was clean and lovely, and she really went the extra mile in making me feel welcome. Highly recommended!
Kat is a literally super host! Really enjoyed London with her place, well-prepared and well-positioned. Can reach Tate Britain on foot in 3 min, and every famous place in London by bus or tube in 20-30min.
It was the first time I used Airbnb, and Kat definitely helped make it a great experience! Her apartment is very cozy and neat, and her decoration is very cute and creates the warm atmosphere. The single bed is very comfortable! The location of her apartment is quite convenient as well! And Kat was a super nice host! She was very friendly and offered her help whenever I needed it. I am very glad that I stayed with Kat. I will definitely choose her place again if I travel to London again =]
I didn't get to interact with Kat much other than my first day, but she was really sweet and helpful with figuring out where to eat and visit in London. She had all these guidebooks that were really helpful, too. Bed was comfy and the neighborhood felt very safe. 5 minute walk to the metro, so it was very easy to get around. I would definitely stay there again.
I came to London to run in the marathon and stayed here for 2 days. The apartment & room were just as advertised - tidy and comfortable. And Kat is a marvelous host - friendly, warm, and ready to help if you have any issues (I was chilled after the marathon and she placed a hot water bottle in my bed! So soothing!).
The apartment's very close to Westminster and the Tate Gallery and a bevy of other luminous sights for the tourist. The Pimlico Underground station is nearby (5-10 minute walk) so you can get you almost anywhere in the city you need. Would definitely stay here again!
