  • I’d say Puerto Princesa is Mommy Susan and Sir Ad. We had the warmest accommodation, from the very neat and clean rooms, toilet with ready shampoo and bath soap, and most of all, the excellent and world-class breakfast personally prepared by Mommy Susan. We even had shakes and delicious afternoon snacks prepared by mommy. She was so nice to arrange all our tour packages making it very convenient for us. All this kindness, together with the smiles of Inday (Mommy Susan’s very able assistant), made our trip very pleasurable and fun. We highly recommend Mommy Susan’s and Sir Ad’s place if you want to stay in Puerto Princesa, and we’ll definitely be staying there again if we ever come back to Palawan. It’s a HOME away from home...

  • I was so happy with my stay it the green house Susan and Ad made me feel so welcome! Wish that I could have stayed a bit longer. The room was prefect. Susan and Ad made things so easy, with meeting me at the airport and organising my onward travel. Oh and breakfast was lovely!

  • My fiance and I were very pleased with the hospitality of Susan and Ad. They guaranteed our reservations to the Puerto Princesa Underground River tour and our second tour of the Honda Bay - both very worthwhile for us. A sidenote is that we saved almost 800 pesos with Susan's arrangements...a small amount, yes, but enough to almost pay for a day and half of motorcycle rental - also arranged by the Veeke's.

Susan and her help are both GOOD cooks and they were able to accomodate my dietary habits (I am a nutritionist with a degree here in the states) and i was very happy to have the healthiest foods that Palawan had to offer - because Susan offered these to us...My honey, Maureen, was far less picky than me, but she was also happy for my sake...haha.

I would recommend taking an external hardrive packed with newly downloaded videos - because the internet connection was very slow and some days non-existent. To be fair, Ad did say that he hoped to find a way to improve their internet. Honestly, though, we did not go to Palawan to watch TV or spend much time online - we are active, adventurous people.

You want to give a try to the Green House and feel secure with all of your basic needs met; the room was always clean...the plumbing works...the bathroom is MODERN...the bed was COMFY. Feel free to request your favorite Filipino dishes...haha...because the cook is TALENTED....just stay tuned to the weather forecasts if you travel during typhoon season...We left at our scheduled departure time, which was just three days before Typhoon Haiyan (known as Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines) swept through far northern Palawan.

Look forward to rides to and from the airport, which is only 10 minutes away..Thank you, Susan and Ad.

  • I booked the place for my sister and here is what she had to say:

"Green house was one of the best places i ever stayed in. Our host and hostess were great. They provided us with the kind of information you won't get from regular tourist agents. We learned about how to get around and what to expect. Their room was spacious and cool. They regularly changed our bedsheets and towels and we never had to ask for anything while we were there. The breakfast was great as well as the daily morning brewed coffee. We even got to taste newly baked bread that ate Susan had made. :-) They even offered to help us with getting tour destinations and transportation. There's a beach nearby so if you just want to wade in the water, you can just walk all the way there. If I ever go back to Palawan, I won't hesitate to stay there again... :-)"
