The aprtment was decent. The garbage and linens were left from the previous guest for 2 additional days before the host retireved them. The keys for entry were at times challenging and I now recieved email from the host trying to charge me additional 80 euro for using the air conditioning the entire stay. We were never told we could not use the air conditioning or that there would be additional fee's. She claims the use of the Air conditioner caused damage to the store below the apartment. This is not my problem if the air conditioner is disfunctional and I am now in the process of fighting the charges. The a/c was shut off in the night hours as it is cool in October eves. We enjoyed having the terrace to sit at night to play cards, talk and be merry. The location is central to the many sites we visited during the day, There is no Wi-Fi and we had difficulty using our cell phones and I-pad in Rome often. I am very distraught from the host trying to get more money. The price to stay in Rome is high enough, and we followed every rule on the list and were sure to leave NO garbage. There was even produce left in the fridge from the previous guests. Cleaning is not to the standards I clean but was tolerable.
In the fridge there were some aperitif for you..and a olives pâté box closes (not used).
The garbage I asked if you didn't mind to leave in a corner apart and the day after I came to through it away..
I am not charging any extra into you credit card I just have asked to you if you will to pay because I found the condition air ON when I came in the flat to take the garbage out and when you check out (in the night ) the day after They were again On.
All the advantages and disadvantages of apartments apparent from the description and reviews: the apartment is on Corso (bedroom windows overlook the street and it's noisy by night, but we liked it).
Want to say that after the reviews, I was expecting the worst.
The apartment is large, three bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms, a lovely terrace - breakfast on it is one of the most of pleasant memories of our visiting Rome. All clean enough.
Excellent location, better than only the Pantheon.
All distances are accessible on foot.
There are a supermarket nearby, a lots of cafes and boutiques.
Rafaella (email hidden), she also organised the transfer for us to the airport.
So it's good choise for company of 3 (and more) persons/
Raffaella, grazie tempo molto e (email hidden) fermeremo nel vostro appartamento!
emplacement excellent mais beaucoup trop bruyant . mauvaise isolation phonique. plus d'espace commun si les 4 chambres sont occupées. équipement spartiate . devrait s'investir plus dans la décoration et le bien-être des hôtes.
all expectations were met. We rented the apartment with the intent of being centrally located in Rome ( near the Spanish steps) and it was very important to us to have good air conditioning - as we were there in mid summer. The decor of apartment is simple, but clean, the two showers worked well and it functioned well as four separate bedrooms for four men. We did not use the kitchen as we ate out - but it was adequate. It is located on a busy street, so there is a little noise during the day, but it was very quiet at night ( except a bus every 30 minutes). it met all our needs at a very fair price. Raffaella communicated well, was friendly, prompt, supportive. she did a great job. I would definitely recommend it if you that is the type of place you are looking for.
Tragedy! Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate - Abandon all hope, ye who enter here! We were a family travelling with 4 adults and 5 children - coming into Rome via car from a wonderful stay in Tuscany. We reached out to Raffaella for accommodation in Rome and she gladly accepted - knowing that we were a family of nine (two operative words here folks...Family + Nine). The apartment was totally insufficient for accommodation and unequivocally filthy. Four rooms in the apartment turned into bedrooms. No place to sit. It closely resembled a flop house for backpackers seeking a "crash pad" or a "safe house" utilized by Foreign Intelligence Agents in transit. No parking, no toilet paper (Raffaella offered to reimburse us 3 Euros for our purchase), limited drinking glasses (a total of a whopping 6 glasses), limited towels (a total of 4 of varied sizes/colors/shapes), limited lighting, moldy showers, garbage bags in the back room, dirty and moldy terrace, stained walls, electrical problems, plaster dust and old newspapers on top of shelves, inoperable keys for the apartment, etc. One roll-in bed squeeked in a way that resembled an electrical fire - a bit disconcerting after being informed that the electrical issues in the house were problematic. (Squeeky-electrical-fire-bed and being aware of electrical issues does not a good night sleep, make!) We immediately sought alternative accommodation and secured it late on the fist evening with the help of the owner of the restaurant Otello alla Concordia. Grazie! We departed early the next day and had to battle with Raffaella for a refund. She claimed that were cancelling and as such, should only be refunded 50% of the entire stay. She disagreed with our position on "misrepresentation" however, we were able to mutually agree that the 50% was not fair. In the end, we wound up paying US$536 (US$412 for the 1 night in the apartment + guest service fees to Air bnb + exchange rate differentials) for 1 night in Dante's Inferno!
The apartment was in a great/safe spot on a popular street. We were walking distance to every one of our destinations. I cannot think of a better way to visit Rome. The terrace was our favorite spot and enjoyed a few bottles of wine out on it just about every night. Enjoyed Rome and the apartment.
Raffaella knew we were traveling with our infant child and provided a “pack and play” crib in the apartment without us requesting it. Our plane was late flying into to Rome but Raffaella made it easy to get into our apartment once we finally got to Rome. I recommend both the apartment and our host, Raffaella Castro. Thanks for everything!
My husband Victor and I enjoyed staying at Raffaellá's apartment. It is in a great location, close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We were 6 people and the accommodations were comfortable for all of us, my husband and I, two older women and two teenagers. We really appreciated the outside patio and the marvellous location, as well as the two fully equipped kitchens and washrooms.
Victor and I wish Raffaella all the best with her Airbnb future arrangements.
Thanks again, Grazie, Raffaella.

Fantastic apartment a fantastic location. Raffaella was very nice and attentive. Would definitely stay here again when in Rome!
If you want a (relatively) cheap crash pad in a great location then go for it. Don't expect anything else.
- The floors are dirty and the walls are marked up
- The furniture seems to be a random collection of stuff picked up off the street
- It is very loud
- No thought whatsoever seems to have been put into how the place looks (including the terrace)
- The photographs are misleading
- The location is unbeatable
- It looks like each apartment sleeps 6-8 people (maybe a good thing?)
Great big apartment with a fantastic location, could not have been better. Unfortunately we was not able to use the terrace, because of some construction work.
