Come and get a slice of Sydney's vibrant inner city living in our character filled Townhouse. Moments away from Erskinevile's village high street (with deli, post office, great coffee shops, bars and excellent transport links) is our home full of charm, featuring lots of original and modern features.
The house is airy, with lots of wooden and polished concrete surfaces and tastefully decorated. The living and kitchen spaces flow through to a peaceful courtyard garden with lots of tropical and native plants.
The bedroom is a compact queen double on the second floor and is a calm and neutral haven with ambient lighting. The modern shared bathroom has a deep tub and large rain shower with lots of hot water.
We are keen cooks so there is an industrial, chef style kitchen fully equipped with a range stove, large fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine if you want to get domestic and feel right at home! We also have a vintage cocktail bar and an excellent wireless sound system.
There is a fast broadband internet connection that you will have unlimited access to. There is a washing machine and dryer fully available as well as an iron and board.
We will provide all linen and towels.
Five minutes up the road is the buzz of Newtown's Kings St with its distinct, alternative feel and cuisines from around the globe, vintage shopping, retro antiques, live music and performance.
Erskineville is also perfectly placed to access other bohemian areas like Redfern, Waterloo and Surry Hills
Trains and buses are only 3 mins walk away, once on board its 5 mins Central station and its a mere 15 min to Circular Quay. If the beach takes your fancy there's a bus stop at the end of the road that takes you to Coogee beach within 20 min. Coogee beach is perfect for swimming as well as surfing. Clovelly beach, with its amazing snorkelling, is pleasant stroll over the headland. The airport is a short cab ride and costs approx $30 and is a far better option than the train which takes longer and costs more!
You will be sharing the house with our family. We are a professional, creative, easy going, late 30's couple with 8 year old daughter and we are passionate about the area and Sydney as a whole. We are great hosts and can help with any questions or bookings you need to make before you arrive.

Had a great Easter long weekend staying at Meg and Adam's. They are both such warm and friendly people and we were made so welcome and felt at home straight away. I was surprised to see our own shelf in the fridge full of fruit and goodies. The atmosphere they've created is such a creative and funky mix of old and new, I loved it! Definitely the perfect Sydney experience in their beautiful terrace. We'll be back! :)
Our experience at Meg and Adams was fantastic and we would highly recommend staying there! They have a charming home on a quiet, peaceful street and are only a 5 min walk to public transportation and bustling Newtown with a multitude of eating and shopping options.
They are extremely welcoming and friendly and have great recommendations for your time in Sydney. We felt very comfortable at their house and cannot say enough good things about them!
We would absouletly stay there again.
Don't look any further, book Meg and Adam's place now! We're from San Franisco and this was our first visit to Sydney. Their hospitality and home made our 4 days wonderful and we wished we could have stayed longer.
Meg and Adam were responsive and gave us loads of info on what to do in their neighborhood (Erskinvile) and the city. Their home is centrally located - a 5 minute walk from 2 different train lines and lots of outstanding restaurants, bars and shops are just around the corner. Newtown is also a short walk away with lots of eclectic entertainment and shopping.
We were delighted the moment we walked into their beautiful home; Adam and Meg were very welcoming and we were immediately at ease. Their home is gorgeous - the pictures don't do it justice! The first floor is open and airy and we felt comfortable sharing the common areas: kitchen (lattés every morning!), relaxing in the garden and wifi that works! Upstairs is the guest room with a very comfortable bed and beautiful linens. The bathroom is closeby and is modern and spotless.
More important than the house are the people that live there. Meg and Adam are warm, vibrant and generous people and completely welcomed us into their home. Their daughter Lola charmed us with her sweet nature and beautiful smile and Matilda is the most gracious and composed teenager you'll ever meet. You don't have to have a great relationship with your hosts to enjoy a new city but we did and it made the trip amazing.
