We had a wonderful week long vacation at The Inlet Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Paul and Christine upon our arrival (both my husband and myself and our two pups) and were shown our living accommodations. The room was well stocked with everything you would need including plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, pots, and pans as well as popcorn, fruit, coffee, tea, juice and soda. And we can't forget the famous banana bread that was so thoughtfully made by Christine. Our accommodations were clean and just as pictured online. During our stay, Paul and Christine were available if needed, but we certainly had our privacy. Great location! All restaurants were within walking distance, and we sure enjoyed being so close to the marsh walk, where we could walk our dogs every morning. We also loved using the Huntington Beach park pass and took advantage of the beach chairs provided by Paul and Christine. All in all The Inlet Cottage is a wonderful stay, great location, and owned by hospitable hosts. We would definitely recommend you stay here!
Thanks Paul and Christine!
We had a great time staying at the Inlet Cottage. We were welcomed with delicious banana bread and an assortment of fruits. Paul and Christine were wonderful hosts - very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. Paul was also very kind and gave us a call when we were out to inform us about a road blockage due to an event. The location is unbeatable. We had a great time at Huntington State Park (5 mins drive away) and easily walked to the boardwalk for food and music. Great place! Thanks!
I had a great stay at inlet cottage. Paul and Chris were very helpful with area info and any questions that I had. They provided everything that you might need. It's a very friendly community with some wonderful local attractions. Nice accommodations, I would definitely recommend a visit here.
My experience at this place was extremely pleasant. Immediately upon arrival, Paul and his wife were there to greet me with a warm welcome. The banana bread is amazing. I ate it within the first 30 minutes of being there. They had a bicycle available which was perfect to take to Huntington State Park, which they also provided a pass for. The bike ride is easy and enjoyable. It took me about 20 minutes to get to the park. This was my first time using Air BnB. I hope all future stays are as wonderful as my stay at the Inlet Cottage! Do yourself a favor and book this place the next time you're in this area! You'll be happy you did.
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The location was great, we rode the house bikes over to the Marsh Walk for meals and entertainment. The cottage was very comfy including the bed! Everything we needed was there including coffee, delicious banana bread and even a bottle of wine. Paul and Chris were great hosts. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
We had a wonderfull stay! We saw alligators in the state park and had a delicous dinner at "Drunken Jack's". It's only 5 minutes to walk from Paul's and Chris's house to the Marsh-Walk. Paul and Chris are lovely. Communication with them was easy and Chris' bananabread delicious!
