Paul and Chris were awesome hosts. The cottage was perfect for our trip; clean, comfortable, walking distance to Marsh Walk and a short drive to the beach. Would certainly stay here again. Thanks for your gracious hospitality.
Our hosts were welcoming on our arrival, and patient with our requests. The property is as described, very quaint and comfortable, and clean. The neighborhood is super convenient to shopping, restaurants, tackle shops, and the interesting, and breath taking boardwalk.
Both Chris and Paul met us when we arrived and showed us around the cottage. Everything was wonderful and they had thought of all the "little things" that make for a perfect vacation. We enjoyed taking the golf cart out for a spin around the neighborhood one morning. The bath was very complete with toiletries, hair dryer, etc. and the kitchenette was wonderfully-equipped.....nice coffee and Chris' delicious homemade banana bread. We couldn't have been more comfy! We had a glass of wine one evening on the patio and enjoyed the seabreeze. Highly recommend this listing and feel sure Scott and I will return soon.
Got in late night and Christine was waiting for us... she was very helpful, had the place ready and gave us useful information of the local area to include a pass to state parks. The room was as described and conveniently located to the Marshwalk and restaurants. Would reserve again during our next trip to Myrtle Beach/Murrells Inlet.
Paul and Christine were such great hosts. We were welcomed with a cozy apartment with all of the extras we could need. Cable TV, stove and fridge, beach chairs, bikes, golf cart, state park pass, and delicious homemade banana bread!
The location was walking distance to several restaurants, and just a 5 mile drive to the wonderful Huntington Beach state park.
We enjoyed our stay in the quiet neighborhood by taking walks to the Murrells Inlet boardwalk. One evening, we were treated to several stories of the history of Murrells Inlet that included pirates, lovers, and ghosts! See Christine about setting up this fun excursion.
This was our first airbnb, and we will definitely do it again.
Thank You, Paul and Christine, and Benji too!
Close to everything on the Marshwalk strip, hosts will let you use their golf cart but easy walk to everything too. Traffic and crowds were crazy over July 4th weekend. Place is very small, an efficiency apartment but shared sink for bath and kitchen is a bit unsavory. Full size frig/stove/oven and micro. A few cooking essentials and table service. Again everything is small-the bed is a full size, the shower is a tiny pre-fab. Place is decorated cute and clean, we stayed cool even on 90 plus days. This is NOT close to the beach, you will have to drive to Huntington State Park or Surfside. Hosts are very nice, helpful and easy to reach.
We were happy to give you the Free pass to the beach. Sorry if the beach didn't seem close enough but it only takes 5 minutes to get there. We also include pictures of our bathroom so everyone can see the size of the shower, sink, etc.
Was hoping you could also use the Free tickets to Brookgreen Gardens we gave you as well as the Free ghost tour I offered and coupons for the Lazy Gator gift shop.
We appreciate your stay and hope you have a good summer.
