  • Margaret's place was great to stay. Very nice neighbourhood, very bright rooms with daylight welcoming you all day long, nice balcony. Internet works perfect. I enjoyed a lot.

  • Margaret is a quick one when it comes to communicate and respond to her guests. A real and convenient advantage for sure.
Her place is perfect too, well located, charming and comfy.
    I strongly recommend it.

  • My parents came to visit me in Montreal for 40 days and they stayed in this cozy and typical plateau apartment. They enjoyed this place and its the location very much. The street it's on is one of the most beautiful street of this area of the city.
Margaret was always kind and helpful.

  • This apartment is very central and easy to find in the middle of what I think is one of Hong Kong's busiest intersections - in front of Sogo in Causeway Bay. Despite it's central location, it is rather tranquil and quiet. (I am from NYC, so this statement might be relative)

The transportation to this spot is stellar - subway, bus, taxi - all right at your doorstep. Also very close to food options cater-in or dining (every possible type of dining available in HK!)

    - Kitchen (well appointed for basic home cooking)
    - Air Conditioning (fantastic)
    - Wireless (easy and simple)

Margaret is a thoughtful host, providing the essentials for your stay in Hong Kong. However, the apartment is an older apartment - so there are some aspects with electrical outlets, lights and appliances that will take some getting used to. And there may be some additional bits of coordination that you'll have to do with her via e-mail as she is trying to fit your time into a busy schedule. But - all in all a good find.

  • Very good situation in the city, we could almost go everywhere by walk.
Flat and kitchen getting old, bad beds, nice terrasse for barbecues.
    No private bedrooms, only alcoves.

  • Was a great place in a great location. Bixi bike rack outside allows for a 10 minute ride to downtown Montreal. I felt at home as soon as I was there. Beautiful skylights lit up the apartment during the day.

Margaret welcomed me, and left coffee and tea in the kitchen. She kept in contact during the week of my stay and offered to open the windows while I was gone on a very humid day.

I enjoyed my stay at Maragets, and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Montreal

  • We had a WONDERFUL time at Margaret's "Unique Vacation Home in Montreal". It's located on a very desirable street in an excellent neighborhood - Far enough off the main streets to be quiet, but close enough to be very, very easy to to get to. The place was warm and wonderful. Margaret worked with us on arrival and departure times, and checked in with us while we were there to ensure everything was going well. Overall a really, really positive trip! THANK YOU!

About
I am a traveler , lover of music, art and books , and like to find out how the world works by meeting the people who lives in it. Thank you to all the members of the community that has visited and stayed with me in the last year and half. I have enjoyed the experience totally. , and hope that my guest have also enjoyed their stay as well as I did their's. I have sold my house there in late january this year, and now am back in Asia. My favorite location : Dali , Yunnan , aka " Shangrila" Provence of China is still there to welcome you , with her delightful people and beautiful weather . Come visit now, the cherry blossoms are at their best glory, along with other flowering plants and trees, as April will be the month , not only of spring , but the famous San Yuet Je Festival, when Dali puts on her very best , including markets and numerous festivities to welcome you .. If it's still too cold in your part of the worls , come on over and clebrate Spring with the China's most diversified Provence , with celebration of the ethnic minorities ( 25 of them with different customs, costumes , crafts and food ) Let them greet you with their beautiful smiling ! My place in Hong KOng is avallable when I am not in town, ( mid- March onwards till mid-may ) just drop me a line . Happy travelling , all !
