Host Claudia was excellent , very warm hearted person and a great artist as well , she made our stay extremely comfortable .We had not realized that there was no washing machine and we were there for 16 days however full credit to Claudia for doing our laundry at her home .
We had first 2 days of problem on warm water at the shower ,but again Claudia came up with solutions and ensured that boiler was repaired immediately( mech equipment do fail we all face this in our homes )
her artistic work is all around the home and feels so nice ,a back garden with beautiful roses -vow it was great to have morning cup of tea surrounded by flowers all around
My Wife and I had been to Berkley to drop our son for the University education no sooner Claudia came to know she gave a chq for 100 usd to have a dinner
Our stay for 16 days was very pleasant in this "home , we started calling it as our home and friends used to feel envious
this home is equipped with all that you need right from towels ,extra pillows , blankets ,microwave to basic utensils and cleaning up toiletries as well !!
it has a Wi fi and all maps of the surrounding areas
Bus stop is close by if you don't intend to walk to the center of the activity which is about 15 -20 min walk , we had not rented a car as we came from a country wherein we were used to right hand drive and we did not want to take a chance for a 16 days stay
our sincere thanks to Claudia for making our stay memorable and great
We loved our stay at the studio. We used to live in Northern California and this was exactly what we were hoping for for our stay in Berkeley. Communication with Claudia was very smooth, she gave us all important info by phone before our arrival, so everything worked out nicely. Everything is as pictured in the description. The studio is Claudia`s workspace for her pottery so that added some character to the place, overall it felt like a "real" space and not some anonymous rental. Thanks again for hosting us!

Such a charming cottage in lovely neighborhood. Walkable to BART and to lots of restaurants. I booked for my parents who were visiting us for 5 nights. They loved the relaxing atmosphere and Claudia who was very helpful.
A great stay in a lovely, quiet Berkeley neighborhood, perfectly situated for easy access to highway, BART and shopping. A wonderful coffee shop just a short stroll down the street was an added bonus. Claudia was gracious and welcoming and the unit was very private and well-appointed.
The house was super charming and beautiful, Very quiet, nicely laid out with a really beautiful garden. We loved Berkeley too. We were in walking distance to the university and a lot of restaurants.
I had a wonderful stay in Claudia's studio. It was absolutely perfect and became my home away from home for the 10 days I was in Berkeley. The studio lived up to all my expectations - the photos shows exactly how it is - and Claudia was a wonderful host who even let me borrow her bicycle (I highly recommend getting a bicycle if you are in Berkeley - it is the perfect way to get around). I keep my fingers crossed that I get the chance to come back and stay here sometime in the future. Thank you Claudia :)
