Close to Whitby's North beach, and the town centre, our comfortable home has free private parking for 2-3 cars, making it an ideal base for 6 guests. You will enjoy having use of the full house, enclosed garden, and outdoor storage & bike charging. Whether you are a family wanting to relax after a busy day on the beach, or exploring the rich history of Whitby, couples wanting a well-earned break, or friends wanting to meet up & enjoy each other’s company, our home has everything you could need.

The space
3 large bedrooms: 1 king-size ensuite; 1 double; 1 with twin singles, or can be linked to make a super king-sized on request. Double sofa bed also available in the living room should you have guests with mobility issues (additional bedding can be provided on request).

Guest access
Access is via a key lock box, which is usually set to the last 4 digest of your booking mobile number for ease of remembering. We encourage guests to use the lock box when leaving the house, as is prevent a 2-3 hour delay in regaining access to the house. It also helps if your party want access to the house at different times 😊

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is in a quiet residential cue de sac, with Whitby's coastal path and the beach a 5 minute walk away. It is also a short walk to the town centre (15-20 minutes) where old historic Whitby and new come together.
Whitby has lots to do from exploring its history, to walking and cycling, with it being part of the Cleveland Way and having the North York Moors on your door step. Whitby town has lots of pubs, bars, and restaurants, one of its most famous is the Magpie fish restaurant (bookings can be made via their website to avoid the queues). If you prefer afternoon teas, there are a number of cafes and tea rooms, the oldest and more traditional being Botham's, that have two location in the town - Personally, we love their quarter scones, but they do many other tempting treats.
The nearest pub (The White House) is less than 0.5 miles or nearer if you take the grass path at the back of the house. It has a bar, restaurant, beer gardens to the front (with sea views) and rear, and is dog friendly. We love nothing more than walking on the beach then calling in for refreshments, whilst looking out over the sea and coastline, before heading back home.
