Our neighborhood is friendly and safe, tree lined street and transport is close, the bus stop is a couple minute's walk from the home, you can walk to the Washington Markets on the next street over, with nail spa's "Mani Pedi" is about $20 and they do a great job. The swap meet is full of things you find down town and very eclectic. With a large post office, restaurants, food markets, 99 cent store, mobile phone store, grab a tattoo for $15, alterations for cloth's, laundromat …. there is also a laundromat 3 houses away which is amongst a smaller market place with another nail salon and a few restaurants. The supermarket has a great selection of unusual and local food at market prices. It's fun to shop there.

There are a few different Taxi cab services, I have a great one to recommend as the other often leaves if your not out the front, ask me.
Lyft/Uber is another kind of Taxi service like air b n b its a taxi service by the people, down load the app and join...it's much cheaper and way more friendlier....just an option, it's all I use.

Other Things to Note
Reiki and Massage:
If you're in need of a qualified reiki healing practitioner I was taught massage by an old Chinese Medicine Dr, this service can be provided to your room or in my studio. I am very gifted. Yelp me under Reiki/massage"There is a fee for this service". This is a place of zen :)
The rooms/unit are on "instant book" so my apologies if you're enquiring or asking questions and it suddenly books, which has happened in the past…the unit/rooms seem to book fast with several enquires. I do have other rooms, unit or rooms which vary in price so check the availability of those as well, if you want to stay here and something isn't available the whole time we could always move you around if you didn't mind, I'm happy to help where I can.
If you are a film crew different rates apply and is normally put through a locations site, My agent can negate a rate, I have other guests staying so I need to book out the entire place. I have 4 rooms that I let out.
I work hard to keep the home well maintained and clean, I'm vigilant and do due diligence with professional monthly visits from Western Terminator's..LA has it's lil critters which can't be helped. Please advise me and I will promptly address the situation. If you have any other discomforts let me know and I'll do my best to remedy the situation.
Remember to validate your parking tickets in at restaurants and shopping malls etc, take them with you so you don't pay a higher price in parking. Sometimes place's don't validate.

"please return that key back under the pot". Its important for other guests.

This place was Great! Everyone here was super welcoming and i didn't feel any discomfort at all! this was my first Air Bnb experience and it was just delightful. Rebekah is such a great, welcoming person and made it really comfortable, it was like i was staying at home. I stayed here because i was going to a music festival and she had no problem with me coming back late. If i ever need to stay in the area again, I'm definitely coming here again!
I am very happy with my first Airbnb experience, thanks you Rebekah for hosting us.
Rebekah was awesome and super comfortable to be around. She made my cousin and I feel like we were at home. She was very hospitable and helpful, more than we could have asked. I will definitely love to stay with her again when I visit LA
The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Rebekah left detailed instructions on how to check in as my daughter and I were arriving after 11 pm from LAX. The room was as described. The bathroom was shared as was the kitchen. The next morning I met Rebekah and she helped me take care of my hand and arm which was suffering from multiple bee stings sustained in PA. What a delightful, caring person! Thank you, Rebekah! I feel welcomed to LA by you! I'd love to stay with you again or even pop on over for a cup of tea and a chat:)
Exactly what I expected very nice very cordial absolutely love her daughter..
Amazing. Terrific host. Very friendly. Place was very clean. Would visit again! Thanks Bek
Spacious cozy and earthy place at IHOB. The place was easy to find with lots of street parking right in front of the place so its very accessible. Right when we entered the house we were welcomed into Rebekah's lovely home. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and we found it centrally located in the heart of LA so it was pretty convenient. The neighbourhood was however a bit run down. The room was spacious, clean and very well decorated, which was perfect for the two of us.
Thank you Patrick for a great review, since you left, the LA city has provided updated/upgraded roads "this week" and housing is selling quickly LA is very Urban....The area was once the home to LA Hollywood Producers "majestic homes" and is now heading back in that direction.

Welcome to IHOB "International House of Bek"
P.S I am about 20 mins from the airport without heavy LA traffic. LAX shuttle or Uber is a great way to get here. I am very central to everything...when in LA you need a car, it's very wide spread...LA traffic is bad between about...7-9am and 3-7pm. I am 10 mins by car to Down town, 15 to Hollywood, 20 to Venice/Santa Monica..the bus service is great, 1 min walk from my home.
