The flat can accommodate maximum of 5 PEOPLE. Please note how this is manageable: There is 1 double bed in the bedroom - however in the lounge there is a sofa that converts to a double bed and there is 1 comfortable chair that converts to a single bed.
This is a brilliant central location with London's hotspot on the door step with easy access to all parts of London. The flat is located literally about 5 minutes taxi ride away (15mins walk down the road). It is also 10 minutes to Caledonian tube/ Kentish Town tube. It is in an Edwardian building (over 100 Years old) and has a spacious garden. Perfect for 2 couples (or a small family). Close to all amenities and late night travel etc.
The flat has:

•Fitted, gally kitchen with a small eating space. Fully functional with all crockery, cutlery pots and pans.

THE LOCATION: Kings Cross is one of the most vibrant areas in the heart of London. (website hidden) bus route for 390 which goes literally by the flat from Kings Cross. It goes to major tourist places in London and many important tube stations through the centre of London.
Kings Cross itself has dramatic scenes in the landscape, with the Regent Canal running through with old pubs along its walk way route. The Kings Cross area has an array of interesting architecture modern and old –one of the finest being St Pancreas. The railway station itself is at the defining edge of modern architecture and style and embraces all the requirements of modern city living, with shopping malls, restaurants and to note a sophisticated Champagne bar on the mezzanine level. An array of restaurants and bars
surround the area. The area is most notable for its transport links and the ease with which to travel and see the city in any which direction. All tube lines go through Kings Cross. Major rail lines connect through Kings Cross including direct link to Luton and Gatwick airports. The Euro train runs directly from Kings Cross to Paris and the destinations in between. The quirkiness if Kings Cross is that the Regents Canal runs through it. This is a 10 minute walk from the house towards Kings Cross station. Walk along the Canal West to Camden Town, Regents Park, Little Venice and all the way to Paddington basin. You can also catch a boat there from Camden. Stop by at the gastro pubs along the way. Walk East from Kings Cross on the canal path to Bethnal Green and the city pubs and bars. Continue along and you will be mesmerized by the Georgian and Regency architecture through Regents Park…and catch sight of one or two animals past London Zoo by the canal.

Travel Advice: Buy an Oyster card FOR ZONE 1&2 ONLY as soon as you land from any tube/train station (Pay for the extra zone to come in and out of the airport separately) . It is much cheaper to do this.
Car: Best not bring a car to London as it is difficult to find parking and is expensive for parking and payment of the Congestion Zone ((website hidden) this to know more about it). Best to leave the car on the outskirt of the city and travel in.

You have access to everything!! This flat is independant and all of it is yours and not shared by anyone else! It is a fully furnished and fully equipped flat with everything in it ready for living.(see description).
-A Lounge with 2 Large settees that covert to 2 double beds. These are not ordinary sofas as they become really comfortable beds.

-Free Internet access
-cute bedroom with a double bed.
-luxurious modern bathroom with sink and toilet.
-an open plan fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge toaster, kettle etc. (to prepare basic foods).
-Beddings and towels are all provided including small hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

The area is full of mixture of professionals and typical British multi-cultural families living around. You will get a real flavour of typical inner city London living for most people living in London.
The place is friendly but also private as people just get on with their business. There are sport facilities very close by the flat and there's regular friendly football games. An interesting place!
This place is in Zone 1 and so it is convenient to reach all parts of London, including via all night buses.

This is a very cozy place, I enjoyed my stay here. The living room, the kitchen and the bedroom are not big but nicely appointed. It was a bit cold at night but the place heats up very quickly. No problems at all. Having lunch in the garden on a sunny day was wonderful, too. Camden is a 15-min walk along the canal. Great weekend, overall. Didn't meet Lara, but her instructions were detailed enough and very straightforward.
Good location & good appartement. The flat was exactly like in the pictures.
The bathroom was not very clean, and we weren't abble to let our luggages in the flat after 11 am for a few hours before leaving on our last day... Whereas lara told us that we could until 1 pm...Result : we paid 40 £ for the deposite at the station

Bazarre!! as she emailed me to say she was having a lovely time....but because I had another guest arriving and had to get the flat cleaned and therefore could not allow the cases she left me this comment.
It really feels a little disheartening from a Host's point of view.
Does what it says on the tin, convenient for Kings Cross, frequent bus from just outside. Clean and well equipped
Lara was not able to meet us at the flat when we arrived, but she sent me advance warning by email and when I called she was friendly, informative and helpful. I found her flexible, professional, and reasonable to deal with. We have a young child, and despite the property rules stating that no one except the paying occupants being allowed into the flat, she allowed us to have a baby sitter stay in the flat while we went out around London. Definitely a five star experience.
Lara is a helpful and available host. She was as accomodating as it's possible to be, and had answers to any and all questions.
The appartment actually seemed bigger than in the photos, and the garden is wonderful.
My favorite Airbnb experience to date, I would definitely book this place again.
My mother and I stayed at Lara's place over a weekend and was very pleased. The apt is big enough for two people who are not a couple, each having his own room. The balcony is a nice touch for people who are visting during the spring/summer.
Heating is descent enough (though not perfect), and there were always hot water and strong wi-fi signal.
The location is sort of central - there's a 24 hour bus right to the city center, though it's 15 minutes walk to King's Cross station, and the area itself has very litlle to offer.
All and all it's a great place for people who visit the city all day and need a comfortable place to sleep at nights.
Lara was a great host, and the apartment is a great place to stay. She provides you with a lot of great information about the city and some really helpful tips to make your trip more enjoyable. She was easy to deal with and always helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment, and would likely stay here again if/when I return to London. The only (small) drawback is that the washing machine wasn't working during my stay. It would have been nice to be able to do some laundry during my trip. Other than this minor drawback, I really have nothing negative to say about Lara or the apartment. It was a great experience, and I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting London. The location is convenient and the apartment is well maintained. I really nice, comfortable place to stay.
