Ideal location, a block from Frenchman and a very short walk to Quarter. Adorable, comfortable and quiet. Perfect accommodations. Hosts are supremely hospitable and attentive.
We loved this BnB, and will definitely be back for a stay here! Virginia and her son are great hosts, and were very prompt in communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. This BnB is literally right around the corner from some of NOLA's best night spots for music where the locals hang out (well, our favorites), gourmet restaurants, and a short walk to the obligatory Bourbon street parties, Cafe Du Monde, the French Market, and Jackson Square. Everything in the unit was clean, quiet, and welcoming. The air conditioning kept the place cool, and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated being able to rest and relax after a long day of sight seeing and/or a long night of fun, but having the convenience of everything we wanted to see and do nearby.
The location was more than perfect. Just 2 min walk and you'll get to the partys then you sleep like a baby in the apartment becuse the neighbourhood is very silent. Just awesome. The apartment was very clean and nice
This was our first visit to New Orleans and it was an absolutely wonderful experience ! Staying at Virginia's Marigny BnoB made all of our stay memorable...the location is the best you can find- right behind Frenchmen St., the best line of bars and live music in Nee Orleans. The room was exactly as described, cozy and comfortable. The extra sofa pull out bed is a bonus, especially if you have a 3rd person joining. A special thanks to Nicole who took such good care of us. This is absolutely the best place to stay and I would recommend this to everyone.
Absolutely fantastic location. We we're steps from Frenchmen St, and the French Quarter was an easy 5-10 min walk. The house was neat, clean, cool, and comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit New Orleans.
Virginia was an awesome host. She told us about a few local things (like a crawfish boil) that we absolutely loved. She made sure to welcome us, and then gave us our space to roam around. Her place is perfect. Located less than a block from Frenchment street, which in my opinion is much better than Bourbon St. It had more of a local flare and less neon. We were able to walk everywhere in the French Quarter from her place. I would highly recommend Virginia and her bungalow as a place to stay.
Virginia was a most wonderful host, really couldn't ask for any better and really beats staying in any of the hotels. The location to Frenchman Street was icing on the cake!

About the Host, Virginia
I am and have been a “New Orleans Public School Teacher” for 27 years. I have 3 children and 1 grandchild. I own a double shotgun house in New Orleans.
I converted part of it as a bedroom for my daughter. When she moved out I converted to a Bed no Breakfast. I look forward to meeting new people with this new venue.
