Another great AirBnB - Glo is an interesting and welcoming host, the house is in a lovely, quiet location, and the room was great.
Lovely stay at Glo's home - lots of character and very tastefully furnished. She was a very friendly, helpful and interested host and very nice to have breakfast in the sunny dining area.
My stay at Glo's house in Cambridge was wonderfully calming. Her beautiful and impeccably clean house makes one feel at home, the room that I stayed in was small but perfectly adequate, and Glo is a very gracious and interesting host. The dining room is situated within view of one of the most spectacular gardens that I've seen on travel, which is luscious and calming - one could easily stay a week just to enjoy this garden! I highly recommend staying here.
I was visiting Cambridge for May Week, and the hosts were very accommodating of my keeping unusual hours due to going to balls and having a health condition.
The breakfast looked lovely (croissants, toast and many different kinds of jam and preserves) and Glo offered me space in the fridge for my own food as due to my special dietary requirements.
The bathroom was small but the shower itself was spacious and everything was always very clean, especially given how many other gusts there were.
The room was small but cosy and clean, with a chest of drawers, a small wardrobe and a nightstand. I had two big suitcases with me but still managed to fit everything in the room!
The wifi signal was good. The room and the cul-de-sac were very quiet and the house is in a pleasant part of town. There is a Co-operative supermarket close by and the city centre is just a stone's throw away.
The house is spacious and airy and I felt very comfortable and at home. Glo and John were friendly hosts but also gave me space and privacy. John helped me carry my heavy cases.
Although I was there for a week, I didn't spend much time in the house but felt very comfortable there. It suited my needs.
Glo is really nice and friendly and made everything to make me feel at home, it was just great! I enjoyed a lot the time together and her house is just beautiful with all those African handicrafts that, I immediately recognized, come from Kenya! The garden also is so incredibly peaceful and well kept that seems belonging to heaven :) thank you so much Glo and hope to see you soon! :)
Glo is a cheerful, welcoming host who is full of recommendations and ideas for your stay. The location is excellent, I found the stroll across the green a perfect way to start and end my excursions into the city centre. Glo was able to accommodate my bike in the garden behind a locked gate. Meals can be eaten looking out over the large, beautiful garden. I had the small (yellow) room, which is indeed small but comfortable enough for a short stay. I will definitely consider staying here again should I return to Cambridge, though I would try for the larger single room next time for the sake of £3 a night (I booked quite late and it was already taken on this occasion).
I really had a nice time at Glo's place. It's a nice house in a great and quite neighbourhood, near to Cambridge city center. Glo is a very nice host, always welling to help you when you need it.
Lovely room, lovely garden and lovely lady!!
I found this a lovely house to stay in, in a very convenient location. Parking was easy, and the neighbourhood was quiet. The bedroom was comfortable and just right for my needs. I found Glo a welcoming and friendly hostess, and I felt very 'at home'. I will have no hesitation in staying here again in the future.
Glo is a cheerful, friendly and helpful lady.
Bedroom was pleasant and area quiet and convenient.
